INC: Former Iraqi information minister negotiates surrender deal
27-04-2003, 20:56
An official at Iraq's leading opposition group, the Iraqi National Congress (INC) has disclosed to Al Bawaba that in the past two days there has been contacts with Mohammad Said al-Sahaf, Saddam Hussein's Information Minister, regarding his surrender. According to Nabil al Musawi, the deal will be completed soon.
Musawi said that although al-Sahaf's name is not included on the list of most wanted Iraqis by US forces, "he is wanted by the Iraqis".
Last week, the Portuguese daily Diario de Noticias reported that the minister whose briefings made him a worldwide celebrity during the recent war, tried to hand himself in via a contact with Portuguese journalists. (Albawaba.com)

Bob is still alive and in Baghdad, where he's been eating the livers of the infidels whom he's personally routed with his own sword. Allah be praised!

While Baghdad Ali can't hold a candle to Baghdad Bob for style and chutzpah, he's at least on a par with Mayor Daley of Baghdad by the Lake. All Ali'd have to do is bulldoze an airport in the dead of night...

Yeah, but Clinton was never so funny, or so delusionally sincere as Baghdad Bob, who's eyes fairly danced with delight at the great Iraqi victory he proclaimed every day in his press briefings. When Bob finally breathes his last, perhaps Allah will have more than 72 virgins waiting for him.

If Bob isn't in the list of war criminals, Bob had better
get himself an agent and watch his career in commercials
take off.

As Minister of Information for Saddam's regime he's probably responsible for deaths in Iraq prior to the war. Bush administration has said the Iraqi's will determine the punishment of the former regime. If he's harmless perhaps he'll survive the tribunals. He won't just because people find him amusing. If the Iraq military heard and believed his lies and fought when they might have laid down their guns and are responsible for Sgt Ron Eli Brown's death at the airport then he should be punished harshly.

Upon hearing of career possibilities as spokesman for the DNC, left-wing talk radio, or standing in at Saturday Night Live, he reconsidered his death and stepped forward.

We find him hilarious, but the Iraqis who want him may have some other entertainment potential in mind.

don't you think, if he is alive, he is having a hell of a giggle about all the fuss being made about him?
To: BluH2o
"Inside sources inform me Baghdad Bob is in serious negotiations with the Clintonistas to work as as the senior ranking greeter at the the Clinton Presidential Museum in Little Rock" That would be a perfect job for him. Can you just imagine the Q & A's.
"No. He never had sex with those women."
"It was the Republican infidels. They are evil and they made up lies. It is all lies."
"The evil Republican infidels, they made up those stories about all those women who say they were raped. They were never raped. They threw themselves at him and he ministered to them."
The possibilities are endless!
