Thank you for the links to the pictures.
Fox News just reporting again on the Franks tour of Saddam's palace and had more pics----including Franks and men sitting in the ornate chairs. I could not see the cigars, but this reporter reiterated that that's what they did, prior to the video conference to President Bush.
I just love this victory cigar smoking going on in the rubble of the tyrant's lairs.

Iraq is a secular country They are using McDonalds and KFC as a metaphor for American big business. Here's the article from the other day that I was talking about...Anti-War Leaders Fear US Fast Food Threat to Iraq
Here's a sample...
"The export of American culture has historically tainted other nations, according to Schaudel.
"You can look in so many different corners of the world, where very similar operations have happened, where the U.S. either covertly or overtly has backed military takeovers, and then not long after that, you see multi-nationals and U.S. corporations coming in there," Schaudel said.
Peter Cook, an organizer with the radical anti-war group International A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War & End Racism), agrees about the threat of American culture to the Iraqis.
"The U.S is putting in place an old-fashioned colonial regime [in Iraq]. We can be pretty sure that the U.S. is going to be impacting all aspects of Iraqi society," Cook said. He also does not believe Iraqi citizens will benefit from America's influence or rebuilding.
"I am not sure colonialism has ever made anybody better off except a few people in colonial power," Cook said.

Actually a very small part of me feels bad for bill because he grew up in an environment that shaped him into the self absorbed, lonely, abusive man he is....
he mistreats women because of emotional problems that stem from his youth, and if he ever had the balls to face and deal with those issues, he could get past his alcoholic behavior of "I, Me, My"
Those defensive qualities develop in children who aren't raised properly, we have a whole generation of them......
I pity him.....he'll always be empty, and trying to be what he's not, because what he is is much smaller than he feels he should be, because he's compensating rather than just living....
He can't handle truth and as such creates his own world where is is all he "wants" to actually be.....
If he could accept the help, you could probably bring out the real guy inside.....but at this point in his life, I'm sure he doesn't have what it takes to do it....
and no one he knows cares enough about him to try......

The lovely Jennifer is on now....sigh!Now, thats what I'm talking about. Why didn't these so called "Saddam loyalist" charge our tanks like the other idiots?
Then we could fly our flag as much as we wanted. And only talk about Miss Shock & Awe 2003.

i just saw the funniest thing on this videotape of iraq on fnc..a guy is dragging a gun and a kid is with him ..the kid knocks down the gun..a truck goes by and blocks the view
the guy goes to pick up the gun..there is a boom off in the distance and the guy puts his hands in the air..I don't think the boom had anything to do with him but they are learning you better put those hands up if you dont want your head blown off

I agree with your assessment. I have suspected Bill Clinton to be a sex addict for a long time. What passed for "womanizing" in JFK's day, has a more clinical definition now.

Actually, I'm with you, Nam Vet -- I prefer Patty Ann, although Jennifer's cute.
Jennifer's having a lot of trouble adjusting to her new style... I don't remember her screwing up her words so badly when shetalkedamileaminutewithabreatheverytwelvewords...

Others have grown up in worse. G. W. Bush is the father Clinton never knew ... I saw that in the brief cold hard glare of a father that Dubya gave Bill at the Inaugural, in the Parade Stand when Bill tried to mosey over and shake Dubya's daughters' hands or hug them -- who knows what. In that instant Dubya froze him in his tracks with a look like a decent father should.

I'm sorry, but sinkEmperor is far more diabolical than what you've portrayed. I will grant he is a 'puer eternus', but he is very dangerous because of his connection with the liberal desire to avoid consequences and thus live in a fantasy construct. Reality is the furtherest thing from clinton's consciousness. His sexual deviancy is an escape mechanism, just as his public rants are a projection of his inadequecies.

Again, our Marines responded properly. They certainly did, considering they were fired upon.
But the only source for "raising" a flag is a quote from Al Jazeera. The photo shows two flags, one American, being held aloft for the photo. You are mistaken in your thinking displaying it is forbidden. It is not. It has NOT been raised on a flagpole or over a public building or square as a conquering force. There was one instance in the very first city where it happened and minutes later was lowered.
They most certainly do not have to hide it as you seem to think.

The new style definitely is tough on her. As a matter of fact, the first time she used this new delivery, it took me a double take just to verify it was indeed Jennifer.

There is nothing keeping you here if you don't like the way the discussion is going.lol...I guess you took my post the wrong way. I in no way meant NOT to talk about Jennifer Eccleston, here or anywhere. Or anytime.
