Interesting live footage on CNN
Posted on 04/12/2003 9:27:32 PM PDT by saquin
CNN reporter Brent Sadler traveling on a road very near Tikrit. The retired military officer in the studio keeps telling him to be careful. I find these live shots very nerve-wracking. It seems rather foolish for a reporter to be doing this, considering that Tikrit is a Saddam stronghold. Just a heads-up in case anyone is interested.

Wouldn't it be cool if a bunch of howling Indians on horseback in full war paint came barreling in on an ambush? Kinda a Mel Brooks does Twilight Zone moment...

Where are all of the lootersLooks like the looters are on coffee break. It is, after all, 9:30am. Maybe they'll be back after the roach coach pulls out.
So far they haven't seen even one person. Anderson Cooper (who I hate) just reminded us that there are not even any dogs around. Thanks, Coop.

I thought it was over a million people!I read today that the population was 100,000 but just googled it and it said 28,000. By the looks of things I can see why a census would be difficult:)
