Good Morning.

This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - Situation Room - LIVE THREAD.

It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.

Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A brief description of what the graphic is would help!  If you post graphics, please "size" them so that our browsers continue to load the rest of the thread!

To all who helped this get started and keep it running, thank you!

Special thanks to Null and Void for keeping these threads running on the weekends, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, Ragtime Cowgirl for her Exclusive Live Transcription Service™, Fledermaus for his 15 minutes of fame, and, of course, Belly Girl...

There's no guts, no heart, no balls and no spine. Plus the head and ass are interchangeable."

I am SOOOO glad I didn't have a mouth full of anything when I read this punch line.

Thanks this thread is wonderful for many of us that can only come on for a few minutes some times, today especially because couldn't leave the TV so I had to make up work today. I was just wondering if it is as peaceful under the Palace where Greg Kelly is?

7. "Iraqi television is off the air because we didn't want you to have to sit through 'Becker'"

That one I'll buy.

So, I take it that Cnn does not have film yet of the massive surrenders?

I only get CNN for coverage. And I haven't seen anything major. Coverage has been very poor the last two days. Another station brings the BBC reports. BBC is doing a better job COVERING than CNN the last two days. CNN lives up to its anti-christened name - communist news network. (you know what I mean) In fact, I don't even remember what CNN really stands for. I still call it the Communist News Network, and honestly don't remember what the "C" was orginally for! Ha! (for real) Wish I could get FOX here.

ROFL...listening to today's Rush (finally)...he is mentioning how the idiot liberals say, "see, Iraq can't be a democracy. They aren't ready. Look at all that looting".

He then points out who does "all the looting" in our country. Especially after an NBA championship! lol

Bush did indeed inherit Clinton's Army. I had thought it would take him a full two terms to repair the damage. But Rumsfeld and the guys have done amazing things. My Dad calls them Bush's Steely-Eyed Killers!

Wesley Clark wonders if they're headed toward Tikrit to fight,

They have no weapons! They seem happy. I heard someone on CNN say that they were not told that the regime had collapsed until civilians told them. I'm gathering that as far as they're concerned the war is over and that they're happy about that. I hope that's what's going on anyway.
