There are days where Fox makes DEBKA look respectable.

FOX interviewing Pittsburg Tribune Review reporter on site in Iraq. He was in the right place for the find. What more do you want? They are saying what "they believe" is weapons grade plutonium and "interesting other things".
Good be old..could be new materials. It is where the missile waters were pointed out by civilians. Doesn't mean anything..then again could be of interest.

I'm just saying that Fox has been awful quick to release reports, only to have to say "Uh...nevermind."

There are days where Fox makes DEBKA look respectable.heh, could not have been said any better. I think they try to jump on stuff before it's clear, to trump the other stations, but it does set them up to make big mistakes/miscalls.

How long before someone puts out captions side by side, or below each other:
Murdoch-owned entities?
NY Post - Headless Woman Found in Topless Bar
FOX - Nuclear Facility Found...
Comments like... they're both sensationalism, but for REAL journalism, turn to CNN, MSNBC, etc.

Actually, only morning and noon.
I don't Freep *nearly* as much as I once did, though.
That's how I worked in time to become a father and also to keep my full-time job! LOL.
To: Starrgaizr
I stand corrected. Makes very good sense. Fox news said they had to do more tests to see if it was "weapons grade," which I guess in this context means plutonium.
To: fight_truth_decay
The key aspect is that there currently does not exist an actual text article on this, saying "plutonium" anywhere in the story.
And you've got a reporter who likely doesn't know an atom from his own rear-end talking to some Marine who likely has no PR experience or training who says "they believe" they've found some weapons-grade plutonium.

"It still keeps the basement of the library warm during the winter....Nuclear power is our friend -- o-)"Not to mention the entertainment value of watching the three-foot long cockroaches fight with the six-foot rats over left-over cheetos.

Don't get me wrong -- I bet it is weapons grade. I'm just saying that, contrary to the title of the thread, FOX news didn't say exactly that. They're still testing.
But I'd bet it is.

Actually, I think MSNBC has done the best job of covering the war. I especially liked David Bloom's reports, it's too bad he's gone.

I can't stand her! Hate her voice, looks, and the way she's so prententious... Always saying "HER" sources, and "I'm being told", over and over and over again.
She was the only one I saw who referred to the Jaquar system. Good move, if was being monitored before, we've just tipped our hand, without even being sure if we got him.

People, please...I'm sure that France, Russia, China or the liberals in this country have a perfectly reasonable explanation:

Anybody seen Rita Crosby She's probably chasing down her "sources"
To: mewzilla
I'm not expert. I gather that not everything that is radioactive is weapons grade. I've been told in this thread that plutonium would be. I assume they're testing to see if it's plutonium, in particular.
To: conservababeJen
*sigh*Liberal friends I can handle (barely), but liberal family members? That would drive me crazy.
To: Quick1
I also thought they did the best job during the 911 disaster as well.
If we're being critical of FOX, just imagine how the "mainstream" media, and the average guy on the street (who's usually very impressionable) feels about them.
