MSNBC's Bob Arnott: Iraqi Hospitals Filled Children with Gunshots - From Saddam's Fedeyeen

Bob Arnott was just on MSNBC reporting that he had traveled to many of the hospitals in the area and assisted in the care for the many children in the facilities that have been struck by gunfire (he's also a doctor). He said he was unsure what the mood in the hospitals would be but found the doctors and patients to be "ecstatic" that Saddam was gone. He then said that the gunshots were all made by small caliber weapons that the U.S. Army does not have and, when he inquired further about the cause of the wounds, he was told by parents and hospital staff that the paramilitary forces were shooting kids on purpose to make it look like the U.S. forces were inflicting civilian casualties.

Ollie North just reported that most of the current "fighting" seems to be from the Fedayeehn(?). They are mostly foreigners, rather than Iraqi. Reminds me of Bin Laden's forces in Afghanistan. Most were not Afghani but foreigners.

Societal Stockholm Syndrome

"The term, Stockholm Syndrome, was coined in the early 70's to describe the puzzling reactions of four bank employees to their captor. On August 23, 1973, three women and one man were taken hostage in one of the largest banks in Stockholm. They were held for six days by two ex-convicts who threatened their lives but also showed them kindness. To the world's surprise, all of the hostages strongly resisted the government's efforts to rescue them and were quite eager to defend their captors. In my opinion, the so-called pacifists of ANSWER and NION. Well, all right, but ANSWER and NION certainly approve of such tactics and propaganda - fabricated hate crimes, etc.

They have to save face and continue to dig themselves deeper into their self-delusions. It is not a question of IF - it is a question of WHEN - they are going to launch a propaganda campaign on all fronts, regarding domestic and foreign policy. A lot of these so-called Fedayeen are foreign-born terrorist scum from Syria, Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, etc. who came to Iraq to kill Americans.

The local Iraqi Shi'ites told them to go home. The "Fedayeen" took out their jihadist frustration on these people, holding many of them captive or using them as human shields in firefights.

There were even some reports from reporters of foreign fighters "taking a temporary wife" (that's a Islamic term for the rape of a captive female) from some of the Shi'ites. This is considered a great shame and many of the Shi'ites don't want to admit that this was done...at least within their families.

It doesn't suprise me that they were shooting children to try and cause trouble. These scuzballs have to come up with an excuse as to why they were practically the only ones fighting for Saddam when they go running back to their respective countries. (If they aren't killed or captured by the Coalition troops, first.)
