When an AMERICAN citizen breaks the law, involves themselves in blocking essential supplies, when the groups involve advocate violence in the name of Peace. They should count their blessings that they only got injured. The police aim at the crowd with non-lethal weapons, would you rather have them use real bullets?

Tear gas is not effective in windy conditions, and the police need to keep their distance from the crowd. If you break the law you pay a price. Too bad some people get welts, there are a few Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Airmen who will come home with more than just welts, some will come home with the Flag covering their coffin. If they are denied one bullet, if the attempt by these individuals is as they claim to deny supplies to "end the war" then they are as morally corrupt as the politicans who send our "boys" into harms way and tell them they are not the aggressors. Once diplomacy ends, once the military is in the field, it is over. They lost the debate. They should, in fact they have the obligation, to work within the law, to express their beliefs. Once they cross the line and endanger public safety then they should pay the price.

There are sentiments of joy at the plight and pain of these people. It may seem heartless to you, but remember this: we are Americans, and she is not dead. Boasting about her "welts" or wishing worse it just getting it off your chest.
