Boy! The size of that zit makes my worry about hair growing on my palm seem unimportant.
Someone start an OPUS thread for tom008

Bye bye, then, Tom, and remember: trying to prevent food from getting to our troops during war is treason, and if I ever do it, shoot me dead. Okay, you may go now.

``I was just marching in a big circle and the police lowered their guns at us,'' said Scott Fleming, 29, who took off his shirt to reveal four large red and swollen welts on his back. ``I turned to run and I started getting hit with wooden bullets. They just kept shooting at us, and I kept running. I'm a lawyer, and I'm seriously considering filing charges.''
Welcome to the wonderful world of PaintBall...If they had known you were a lawyer, they might have spent more time aiming....

Maybe you would change your tune if your son or daughter was in harm's way and some misguided self-absorbed individual prevented the shipment of materials to protect and enable your loved one in Iraq.
Some of us take this kind of anti-war protesting very personally, and feel this sort of action should have been taken much sooner

I'm glad you explained that. I saw that pic previously and thought maybe she was having her skin stretched so it could be grafted. HA

Riot, block streets, *block military supplies*, and you're taking a chance.
Duh!
She's an immature moron, and should consider herself lucky. She could have easily lost an eye, or even died if she had taken a hit straight at the windpipe. This is a simple concept, and were I not typing this I'd say it slowly so it might sink in:
There are things that we as a society WILL NOT tolerate. This is one of them. If these people don't like it, I suggest they leave for a society that accepts a higher level of anarchy. Good luck finding one. It's either that, or they should find a way to grow up.

was no danger to any vital organ.

Well, at least they didn't shoot her twice, break both legs, break her arm, fracture her ankle, fracture her foot, dislocate her spine, crack open her head, starve her for eight days, gang rape her or tie her to a steel metal bed spring for electro shock torture.
Because someone else did endured this punishment in support of freedom, maybe she will never have to.

Looks to me like the Oakland PD and the American military had a good day.

Would you like a handkerchief?
This little Trotskyite was not standing innocently in a park with a basket of flowers and an peace sign. She was in a group of avowed communists who refused several lawful orders to disperse from a plainly seditious act of sabotage.
In case you don't realize it, sir, the way military action works, when supplies are scheduled, they must be where they're expected. A single delayed shipment could, yes indeed, get American soldiers in the field, very killed.
So boo hoo. A little girl got stingballed and a two-week welt/bruise, instead of shot dead, or thrown into prison on a high federal charge. And the Left, in their own self-righteous self-absorption, considers this the moral equivalent of what Saddam did to untold tens and hundreds of thousands of provable innocents. This doesn't even rise remotely close to a Kent State, but you'd never gather as much to read their rhetoric.
Tell you what - if I ever have a notion to interfere with a military convoy during a Democratic administration, can I just go ahead and get guaranteed just a stingball to the face, and no jail time? Even if I get people killed? Sounds like a sweet deal to me.

Looks like Tom was just another whiny hit and run bullsh'ite poster. You know, make a stand and then scream a fit if anyone actually answers them. Sort of like these supply-blockading, treasonous saboteurs.

Word by word, tom:
She

It
Coming.
I find your protestations on this woman's behalf highly suspicious for a freerepublic member since 1999.

You nailed that one!
What I also like is that "what the heck is it" fuzzy vest she appears to be wearing.
