A group of al Qaeda terrorists is attempting to infiltrate the United States from Mexico to conduct attacks in the country, The Washington Times has learned.

At least 14 al Qaeda members are said to be in Mexico, said officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The al Qaeda members are working with Mexican organized crime groups, such as drug-trafficking organizations, in an attempt to enter the United States covertly, the officials said.

Over a year ago, Whoraldo did a spot on the Fox show "The Pulse". The Iraqi and Iranian secret service were smuggling people from Mexico into Southern California and Arizona since 1998 according to this report. This is not really a "breaking" piece of news, it's old hat.

A group of al Qaeda terrorists is attempting to infiltrate the United States from Mexico to conduct attacks in the country, The Washington Times has learned....

...A spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security said he had no information on the al Qaeda members who are attempting to enter the country.

Why do we bother with a multi-billion dollar 'Homeland Security' budget, when all we need is Bill Gertz and the Washington Times to keep tabs on the US border?

either our President or some huge corporation, or both

Yep, it's both. Politics (Hispanic vote) and cheap labor. The Dems are even worse so I don't see any hope in getting it resolved.

In a couple more weeks once our boys finish cleaning house (and palace alike) in Baghdad, shift them to the Southern US border...

It's no wonder...if you held a photo of many middle-eastern types up next to many Mexican males, it would be hard to detect the difference. We've tolerated such a leaky border for so long and allowed so many illegals to stay without consequences, they terrorists would be stupid indeed not to take advantage of such an opportunity.

If these terrorists come via Mexico and GW has done NOTHING to protect that border, he will have hell to deal with, IMO.

If Bush doesn't do something about our southern border I will not vote for him,no matter how well the war goes.

Is it the Hispanic votes that he is looking for? Is it all political? I don't get it!

Perhaps now our President will see the necessity of deploying troops on our borders.

Nothing, I mean nothing will persuade Bush to put troops on our borders or enforce our nation's immigration laws for that matter. He is FOR illegal immigration. It's the fatal flaw of this administration.

Muslim terrorists are al over South America so why shouldn't they be in Mexico? They are operating in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Columbia, Ecuador, Venezuela, etc. Anyone can get to Mexico through Cuba (yes, still!) and of course, there are the myriad number of ways through Central America.

Venezuela is a huge base for their activities and sanctioned by the government there in the form of Fidel Jr. who is running things. Get to Venezuela, buy a Mexican passport and what's to stop you from going to Mexico and then across?

Maybe a concerted effort to protect that border is in order finally...

Perhaps now our President will see the necessity of deploying troops on our borders. What a very simple solution to solving a myriad of problems: (1) thwarting terrorist (2) protecting our sovereignty from the massive tide of illegals crossing daily (3)drying up of illegal drugs.

Nothing is going to change.

Our President places a higher priority on not offending any of the above mentioned, than the safety, and property of U.S. citizens.

If we have another terrorist attack in the country I wonder if he'll repeat that statement?

I don't know if this has anything to do with anything, but two times yesterday in our local area (So Cal suburb) I saw about 10 police car surrounding (and blocking) cars that had been pulled over.

Usually a traffic stop for one car will involve two, three sometime even four cars. These were real shows of force that had traffic on the surface streets where it happened shut down.

What was odd is that I saw it twice on my drive home from work about 3 miles apart.

And this boys and girls is going to kill many American's........

It's pretty damn obvious they can't win on the battle field, so it's fairly clear what would be their next move.......
