Very good observation - linking PFC Lynch's words with "Let's Roll", as both being the new mottos for American patriots.

Ditto everything you said about "I am an American soldier too!" What a brave girl. Her words give me chills every time I read them, much less say them. They will stand with "Let's roll!" as anthems for 21st century patriots.

Great post! I think the Army should adopt "I am an American soldier too" and use it as the army slogan instead of that stupid "Army of one".

There have been reports of bombs very close to the hotel, as well as additional oil trenches set on fire. The smoke is probable from a little of the former, but mostly the latter.

There was bombing near the hotel earlier..sky looks dark and prob smoke.

I honestly think its probably smoke from bombing, but on the bagcam/with audio, it does seem like a thunder and lightening storm could be brewing. So the reality is, that its a product of war, my fantasy is that the guys were going to get a shower courtesy of God.
