Video shows Saddam walking down alleged Baghdad Street. Typical Iraqi celebration with Iraqis dancing on street with guns. Saddam embracing a kid. I think you can see a fire the background from an oil well. Overcast day.

I've always wondered: do those bullets ever come back down to and wound the revelers? All the time.

It's him. Repeat - IT'S HIM! It doesn't matter, because the US Military is in virtual control of the country.
What you are seeing is the exact definition of a Dead Man Walking.
To: prisoner6
Gonna party like it's 1499!
(Kudos to the FReeper that came up with that.)

Maybe not satelite coverage, but we surely have Predators around the Baghdad area since the war began that might get this on tape.
Does anyone know when the trench fires were first set?

I just saw the video, and there's NO WAY that's Saddam. First of all, the real deal would never appear in public, especially right now. And secondly, I've seen enough of the real deal to know his body movements, and the guy I just saw moves completely differently.

Fox News scroll is now: Iraqi TV Shows Saddam Visiting "Bomed Area" of Capital. Al Jazeera reports Saddam pictures are from today.I can hardly think of three less reliable words than "Al-Jazeera reports."

No power in Bahgdad,Iraqi TV may be broadcasting but no one is watching, tape must have been sent to AlJazeera.
Pure propaganda designed to inflame Arabs.
Bring on the idiots trying to get to Iraq, they will be wiped out.

That Helen Thomas/Saddam Hussein one just sends me over the edge. It is too funny!
To: vigilante2
I hope he is dead, however...if not, somebody let the 100,000 American soldiers know that Saddams head is back in play.
To: HenryLeeII
Actually, it's crowds who are afraid of Al Gore, as witnessed at his non-book signings.

The CNN guy in Kuwait City and the other analyst now on just nailed it:
"Iraq is desperate now for outside help. But, Jim, it is too late for any other Arab country to get involved militarily, and even if they did--it wouldn't matter anyway."

I can hardly think of three less reliable words than "Al-Jazeera reports." Debka reports?
The New York Times reports?
Tom Daschle says?
