Would anyone have held it against the General if he walked over and whacked that whining idiot on the side of the head with a 2 x 4?
YES...Why should she get special treatment....there are so many others just as deserving.

CENTCOM is claiming that the Baghdad Division of the Republican Guards has been "destroyed" near Al-Kut. "Destroyed" is the exact term used by CENTOCOM (Re: Bagdhdad Division, which was one of the weaker ones. When Medin falls, it's over.)
Now a talking head on Fox saying "maybe we'll have Baghdad before the 4 ID is in place" AFPhys predicted this many days ago.

There was some change yesterday. An ex Marine top dog said that if you are a general and are working on a war plan, and are so intensely against it and think it erroneous, you don't leak to the press, you put your stars on the table, and leave. You do not undermine the government and it's army. He was flaming!! and except for one person, everyone agreed.
The bottom line is that perhaps we will get some more positive press because the media is now getting hit with complaints on their coverage. Arnett is a good example. They said he did a good job right after his report and quickly jumped ship after complaints.
Go FR! Go Fox!!

Wish it were possible to send something symbolically there to the Gens & the Fox crew.. like one of our FReepers did last week to Tori(he sent her flowers)
I wonder if they realize how many people TRULY realize about the admirable integrity of FOX & the way we support the way the crap is handled by the CENTCOM guys

Th Red Line reminds me of Libya's "Line of Death" from the 80s. Reagan had to remind them whose death they were talking about.

Can we e-mail him? Tommy talked about getting one from his wife at his first presser.
To: TomGuy
I bet the hot propaganda topic of the day from Iraq is the whining we are blowing up historic holy sites, earlier Vince talked about two tanks on transporters shown on a video with a third transport vehicle with a container, it exploded, all were just outside a mosque within Baghdad, he states there were NO coalition attack in that area at that time.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Did you hear that they got the word on Jessica from a civilian who passed a note to a news reporter?
I have heard that Fox News knew about this before the operation went into affect. My guess is that Fox News were the ones who got the information to the military. I recall last night one of the officers thanked Fox News for keeping a lid on it.
^5 To whoever they were for not spilling the beans for a headline.

My son just got home from Afghanistan and I have 2 days with him. He is very angry at the atrocities going on in Iraq and is hoping he will be sent there as soon as his leave is over. Our troops are the best. God bless them all.
Don't know what to say except "Thank you for your service and dedication." Bless him, and you for the stress. Our troops are indeed the best, and our families too, for risking the brave ones.

The two tanks (duct tape ones) fact or April fools stuff? ...Haven't heard about that Steve Ducie said it was an April Fools Joke......despicable, and utterly not funny, at all.
To: Trust but Verify
I do not believe we are going to have a major "being sucked in" episode of Baghdad fighting. This is the most uncertain aspect of the WASH, though.
