Talk about a light and flexible battle plan against a treacherous and unprincipled enemy! Oh, you can be sure the military already knew who the enemy was in the press.....and, they've prepared for them long ahead, lol!
To: AFPhys
Have you all noticed the missing questions?? No supply or plan questions...lmao

OTOH, the Fox reporters are respectful and complimentary toward the military personnel.

Greg Lynch Sr. is on right now, a very relieved father.

With the press or the enemy? LOL The press have long-ago proved themselves to be the enemy....with few exceptions (i.e., FOX). : )
To: Green
Q (CBC): tell us more about red line? Why not used?
A: It ain't physical. It's conceptual. Causes us to maintain caution. But doesn't make us stop.
Geez...how hard is it to understand.
To: Green
I think the press realized they got read the riot act yesterday. Many questions were still irritating but in general seemed less frivolous and accusatory today.

This has been a SUPER BRILLIANT battle plan!
I can't wait until I see all the armchair nay-sayers eat crow on national TV...
I, for one, am setting aside a hundred bucks for future books of this action... and only one of those books might be written by one of the retired guys: Hunt.

before we have house to house in Bagdad. That's a future talking point. Mr. Kucinich got ahead of the pack.
ANyubody have a summary of the remaining talking points? "Too fast" "Too slow" "Are we there yet" "Not to plan" "Red Line" "No-WMD" "Quagmire/door-to-door in Bag" "Basra not really secure" "Iraqis not cheering" "Civilian casualities"
Note the stark absence of "Holy cow, you guys did a great job there." Not even a hint. Contemptible.

Q (NBC) Why didn't you tell us the whole story about the rescue?
A: Because we still had forces there.
DOH!
To: Cboldt
Does anyone really think we are going to get sucked into house-to-house fighting in Baghdad?
To: Carolina
LOL! Jessica wore formal ball gown to her prom and wore soldier boots with gown...dad chuckling about her personality

I'm looking forward to Ollie's documentaries. He'll have War Stories enough to last the rest of his career.

OTOH, the Fox reporters are respectful and complimentary toward the military personnel. Most definitely....FOX truly is representative of most Americans, in word and deed.

Will see if it is on our local Fox alliliate..
toss up..
thanks for info.
Hate to ask ? that may have been answered yest:
The two tanks (duct tape ones) fact or April fools stuff?
Has anything been on re: the rescue of the 4 journalists?
Heard they were RESCUED also... I know about them being okay but not much about the op that secured it.
Sickening ironly as these things happen AFTER Jesse is supposedly there. OF COURSE WE KNOW THERE IS NO CONNECTION BUT WILL THAT STOP HIM FROM CLIAM PARTIAL IF NOT TOTAL CREDIT? DDont bother to confuse anyone with facts.

before we have house to house in Bagdad. The Beeb and Sky have been talking this point for about a week now. US doesn't want to get into urban warfare. No experience in this. Blah, blah, blah. And the Afghan winter was supposed to be detrimental to us, too.

The market attacks were where a poster of NYC showing the towers was found. Still raises a question in my mind as to what was really in that market place. I'm not absolutely sure, bu I thought that there was also a picture in the second market showing a poster of the towers with a plane crashing into it.
Time will tell.

I can't wait until I see all the armchair nay-sayers eat crow on national TV... I'd like to see it too, but that isn't the MO. They either change the subject, or don't appear at all.
