So does this mean that he is or is not going to open the vault with Saddam inside?

Has anyone looked at Drudge lately? Arnett has sprouted a head of hair and Saddam eyebrows!

Speaking of unprofessional...What is the deal with John Gibson's hair?"
Perhaps you can get a better understanding of news if you paste a picture of the coiffure of your choice on a radio and listen to it?
Just couldn't help myself. :)

Personally, I'm glad to hear that there was no truth to all this. I think Geraldo has done one helluva good job in Afghanistan and now Iraq. He's grown pretty close to these GI's, and I didn't choose to believe that he would have done or said anything that would have compromised them in any way.
Go get 'em, Geraldo, and you and those wonderful boys out there stay safe.

Geraldo MADE A FREAKING MAP, with troop positions and everything! I saw the map he drew and it was no different than some posted here on freerepublic. Seehere

how can the government even let these scumbags keep FAA licenses after this ? Isn't there some kind of penalty for broadcasting LIVE lies?? Like Sam said, you mean the FCC, not the FAA. And no, of COURSE THERE'S NO PENALTY for lying. Sit and think about that for a second. How could the First Amendment only count for things you could "prove" as true in a court of law? As long as you're not libelling someone, it is absolutely acceptable to lie.
And only TV stations have FCC licenses anyway. Cable networks don't have to deal with that sort of thing.

I've never watched IMUS...
I'll have to check him out tomorrow.
I shouldn't complain much about F&F anyway...
My morning TV is usually tuned into SpongeBobSquarePants or the like *sigh*
Btw, ratings don't mean squat to me

Americans will forgive FNC their mistakes as long as they remain pro-American. How Stalanist/Maoist of you and your kind of patriotisim. Will you denounce me in public for not accepting patriotic mistakes while the mob waves a little red book at me?

I give Geraldo credit for presenting our troops in a most positive light and reminding the country of our troops still in Afghanistan. Me too. Up until last week he was still doing his show live from Afghanistan with the troops.

The map I saw him lay out ( the second one ) was all wrong anyhow.I was talking about the first map not the second one. On the first map he drew a close up of the town they were going to assault and the toop positions along with the direction of the attack. Perhaps he used the second one for cover. If you have the replay check the first map and let us know.

Speaking of unprofessional...What is the deal with John Gibson's hair? Maybe Brit Hume should give him his hair stylist's phone number ;-)
To: Quick1
Arnett SAID his reports are used to provide ammo for the anti-war movement in the States.
We already know this to be true. We do NOT know whether Geraldo's report was true.

I believe so swheats. Actually, I felt that Geraldo was doing a good job of reporting, albeit, he perhaps crossed the line in "drawing in the sand"..... Funny though,Fox,and other networks, continually show " MAPS" with detailed locations of where the troops are at the moment. Perhaps we need to rethink our use of the embedded media.....hmmm.
I was thinking this was a dirty trick by MSNBC to take the heat off of Arnett.

Gerry went to the Company Commander and said let me lie about where we are and then draw in the sand where the map where we are not going. I, for one, would jump for joy. I've had a gut full of these "anti-American" journalists.
