"It was wrong for Mr. Arnett to grant an interview with Iraqi state television," said NBC in a statement. NBC, MSNBC, and National Geographic have all fired him.
Arnett on live, apoligizing to "NBC, MSNBC, National Geographic, and the American people." He then goes on to say that all he said in the interview was "what we all know.

wow...NBC has some balls Oh please...its all about their pocketbook. They could really care less about issues of integrity and ethics here, their main concern is the bottom line.

But you are incitefull, I don't wear tie shoes. The word is "insightful."
The risible weakness of your posts has well demonstrated my point on your IQ.

MacAllester wrote some powerful stories about the personal suffering of the people in Kosovo and Afghanistan. I sure hope he wasn't discovered collecting the same kind of information in Baghdad.

Excellent all! For all who emailed their thoughts on this GARBAGE and seditious act. But Why wont anyone take on MSNBC legally? I mean this is WAR and what arnett did with NBC backing it up should have some concequences? But this guy will pop up somewhere else, maybe become an independant and still feed NBC his treason reports. Whats your opinion?

Arnett is the same Arnett who reported the Marines "used gas" early on in 1965 in Qui Nhon, South Vietnam. 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines were sweeping and area full of known VC and the commander (LtCol Leon Utter) authorized the use of gas...plain ol' simple tear gas! In doing so, he flushed out caves and tunnels and saved hundreds of innocent lives. Arnett reported this "use of gas" in a sensationalism report and Utter damned near lost his command and career...fortunately, an Army general had operational command of the battalion (the only one in that area) and halted the damage. Utter went on to receive two Silver Stars during his your as battalion commander (he was a former WW2 USMC private in battle on Okinawa as well). Utter passed away in 2000...a fine commander and officer who did the right and humane thing at great "plitical risk"...Arnett is a scumbag. He was "fired"??? He sould be ostricized by his peers and nevr hold a reporting position again!

I have to laugh when many conservatives say to return to local government.
When I see the anti Americans in local government all over Kalifornia, I just shudder.
As we know, Davis, (the commy city), with its Watermelon Green Jihadists in control of Davis, for over 3 decades has had locals take the oat and immediately do illegal things.

I need an e-mail address for Columbia University so I can tell them where to put that wacky professor. Also, am disappointed that Arnett got canned. I wanted him whacked out by a Tomahawk. Now he will go to ground and we won't know where to find the bastard.

"no, national geographic fired him, too.">
If true, they need to update their website to reflect that.
Might also consider taking the latest Arnett report off.
