Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Watch this interview when it comes up. We have all seen this Iraqi rep at the UN meetings. He is usually billigerent at the UN meetings but appeared (as he rocked incessently) to be very, very scared.

You see this guy on Fox, He is basically saying the Iraqi people are happy to live in tyranny, is this guy for real?
++++++
That is classic leftism - talk about racist!!! These types think the part of America who would inflict war on another country is bad, and at the same time think their assumption that Iraqis would not want to have the freedoms that we have is both true and acceptable.
That fool should become part of a video which illustrates why lefties are contemptible.

Thanks, Green! I missed the first couple minutes of the Combover interview.
Russert is asking tough questions of Franks, but his tone is *much* softer than it was against Combover.

Sounds like he will be ready for the 1K range one of these days. The latest Sniper equip. has so far advanced I have trouble fathoming their capability.

LOL, Rummy just said in reponse to a question from Brit, on why Saddams bodyguard was seen with the Minister of Defense. "It could be an indication that he is NOT moving around much."

There are no unit markings or F-F identifiers on the sides. Of course an Iraqi would not care.

That was an important message Myers just sent out.
He said a commander on the ground may request air support at a certain spot. The planes come in and hit a different target....because that's where CENTCOM directed them! CENTCOM may have different target info than the ground commander.
The ground commander (or an embed reporter) may interpret that as un-responsive to the request. He said, "Sometimes where you stand depends on where you sit". This is a good example of what someone said, "This is like watching the war through soda straws".
Good work, General.

He had chocolate cake AND crème brulee for dessert? How does Combover keep his figure?
(And kudos to the NY Post staff for following the Iraqi ambassador around The Big Apple.)
