Was the stained dress originally discovered by embedded reporters?
To: arasina
They're probably embedded with different units. There's a bunch of correspondents embedded with the Marines, but only Ollie North witnessed the first helicopter crash.

If we reveal them, the tide of world opinion might swing a bit. That could make it more clear to RG commanders that using the stuff is a very bad idea. Quite the opposite. The Iraqis are playing for world opinion -- and we know they desire that greatly in order to force a political settlement. We want them to think they have a chance to get that...because if they no longer think there's any chance of a political victory then they have no reason to hold back on the chemical weapons. The only thing keeping them from using them now is that they think they can win this politically.
If we reveal them, three things happen: 1. The chemical weapons, every one of them they have, comes at us; 2. The Arab world sees the damage they cause and rallies even harder behind Saddam; France and Germany and Russia get a bit embarrassed but then say that these things would have been found and taken from Saddam if we had just given Dum-Dum Blix more time, so it's our fault that they were used.
We want to avoid them being used -- that's the "prime directive" for us. And that's why we're going to keep giving Saddam hope that he won't have to use -- hope that he can win this politically.
He has no hope of that, but we want him to think he does.

Kelly is in with 3ID. Listen to him every night. If this is true, he will get it out.

It was also my understanding that if we or Israel was attacked with BIO/Chem weapons that we could respond with Tactical Nukes as a last resort to prevent mass Casualties on our side; is this still on the table?

Oh something about how he claimed during his presidential run that he'd asked God to change the direction of a hurricane, and God did as requested.<--I like Pat Robertson, but sounds like he would be a very good weatherman.

Um, you're right - just confirmation of the deceased.

Jimmah and Coughy? No, but that would crack me up! LOL. Police handcuffed Mairead Corrigan Maguire, who won the prize in 1976 for peace activism in the Northern Ireland conflict, and Jody Williams, a 1997 winner for her work to ban land mines,

Re 121: Interesting theory. You could be right. Though I did see somewhere else (I've lost all track) that there are some enemy bunkers or something that have been sealed but will be opened soon -- in the presense of media. Of course, the implication is that there are WMD inside.

If we reveal them, three things happen: 1. The chemical weapons, every one of them they have, comes at us; AND thousands of Iraqi citizens who get in the way, and it will be considered OUR fault.
To: Lee'sGhost
My theory would then state that these sealed bunkers will not be opened until after Saddam is beaten and gone. We'll be awful "busy" before then anyway.

I completely agree with you!

Having the "filler guy" would be a clue, unless he's lying. It would be interesting if they have the empty rounds, but somehow don't have the means to make them live.

BACK OFF JACKASS. Of course not. I'm making an obvious point that JP or CBN breaking this is better propaganda value for the Islamofascists than anything Saddam could hope for. Then why didn't you say so in the first place? Frankly, I don't think that Al Jazeera or any other Islamofascists propaganda outlet can tell the difference, between CBN or the New York Times. To them both are Zionist puppets.

You might see it buried by the military. The Diplomatic and political ramifications of the russian shells would complicate our actions in Iraq. Better to deal with Iraq now, and when the dust settles the diplomats can hash it our with Russia later. If the Russians can be directly traced to these shells, is it beyond the possibility that they were connected to the 9/11 events, even if only in secret support of Iraq? In which case 9/11 was the opening salvo of ww3, with the first strike being suffered by the US!

The article you reference states:
"It is impossible to believe that Jesse Jackson or Pat Robertson were aware that their friend and business ally Charles Taylor's regime was helping fund al Qaeda by selling it diamonds."
So what is the problem? When spreading the Gospel you will have to deal with a lot of unsavory people. There wasn't anything in the article to indicate Robertson was trying to personally benefit from the dealings. If we are all judged by the nature of every person we do business with, we are going to:
1.) Not do very much business at all or...
2.) Sometimes do business with scoundrels.
Either way, to judge the mans Credibility on this one article is kind of narrow minded IMHO. Sounds like you are just looking for a reason not to like him.
