Support for Bush grows, poll finds
Two-thirds of Americans say president is doing a good job
MSNBC AND NBC NEWS
WASHINGTON, March 23 Public support for President Bush has solidified in the early days of the war with Iraq, with two-thirds of Americans saying they approve of the way he is doing his job, according to a NBC poll published Sunday.
THE PRESIDENTS approval rating of 67 percent in the poll of 516 adults conducted Sunday was up from 62 percent on March 17, two days before the first air strikes against Iraq. The percentage of Americans who disapprove of Bushs job performance also declined by 5 percent, from 33 percent to 28 percent, over the period.

This whole conflict has shown us that there is 30% of America that will never be swayed. They hate Bush so much that ANYTHING he does will be viewed in a negative light. I bet if Bush ran into a burning orphanage to save 100 babies from the flames, they would find some way to criticize him for it.

Its great that the numbers are up. I just think it is sick of these stations putting out polls when good soldiers are being killed. It makes it look like Bush is improving on the backs of our soldiers. What is next Frank Luntze gets a group together while showing war footage. Well what did you think right move? Wrong move?

The Arab world would declare the fire to be the result of a Zionist plot.

Why does the media coverage make citizens look so heavily anti-war!? You would think a majority of people are AGAINST Bush's actions. sigh

I bet if Bush ran into a burning orphanage to save 100 babies from the flames, they would find some way to criticize him for it.If you went over to the D.U.mpster, they would say he started the fire, part of a Karl Rove conspiracy, the kids were all planted there, and that is was proof he was evil. Some of the idiots claimed that when Senator Frist M.D. saved those people in Florida, it was a set up to by Rove to make him look good. When they heard that Bush gives over a 10% of his income to charity, they thought it was a scheme or money laundering or some crap like that.

I believe in the theory of the thirds. One third of the people hold to the truth, one third deny the truth and one third don't know what to think about the truth. It always seems to be the case in America.

There was a pro-war protest today, and on the news, some guy had a golden line. He goes "We can only do this rally on sunday because we have jobs, not like those riff rafts who don't work who can come out here every day".

Comrade Jennings does not like this news.
To: bolobaby
If he did that, the Michael Moore crowd would run the 100 babies back into the burning orphanage.

At the Reno rally, we were screaming into the faces of the pussies, asking them where they worked. They wouldn't answer.

These idiots consider protesting work. This is there job, professional complainers and malcontents. They are afraid that war will deride them of there gravy train.

You are right the polls do matter.
Should we take polls on the battle plans
and troop deployments?
To: Sonny M
Don't forget to blame the Jews while your at it.
You know that the government is a big Zionist conspiracy theory. :-D
