Northland residents took to the streets and parks Saturday to make their voices heard about the war in Iraq, where a U.S.-led coalition is trying to uproot a regime that squelches free speech. At Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth, thousands turned out for a rally organized by a 16-year-old girl and headlined by a national radio talk show host flown in on a corporate jet owned by Jeno Paulucci....

I'm glad to hear there was a good turn out in America's Scandinavian Socialist state of Minnisota.

I heard the girl on the Glen Beck show and heard Glen encourage her to organize the rally.

Agree with you, What Is Ain't. There are so many good quotes in this article, it's hard to decide which I like best. It didn't mention, however, if the soldiers from other wars spoke. I think, if they had, the people would see the same fears and sentiments that are expressed today were felt then too: Mothers and sweethearts sending loved ones off to war; the "Vacant Chair" (a War Between the States song) sentiment; fears; devotion to duty; and the list goes on.

Jeno is the jeno's of pizza roll fame. As well as Chun King, michaelino's etc. Many years ago Duluth took a big economic hit when the pizza rolls and the AFB left.

Thats not spin Glenn Beck asked for help to be flown in there because he had other stuff to do and they flew him in he asked over the radio for help for about a week. im glad to see he got there
