Puts me in mind of that time in the 1970s when the guys who Produced the pro Vietcong documentary "Hearts and Minds" read a letter of congratulations from the North Vietnamese government. Not as many boos then.

I'm not buying it.

MOAB this place. This is the largest gathering of Al-Queda/Saddam Hussein supporters in the country at the moment right now.

And just imagine Moore Bore shares the great Ted Nugent's home state Michigan.

That state has sure spawned some characters.

I think that's one replay they WON'T be showing.

That was my first thought, too, that it will be filed in the same place where they put the tape of Hillary being booed by NY firemen and policemen.

BUT it was so outrageous it may be newsworthy on those entertainment tabloid shows. So we'll see.

That was more than worth it -- I am glad that left him spew his hatred because for the most part the audience look shocked and those anti-Moore folks made my evening! Never thought I would see anything like it.

a guess he is just a Stupid White Man

"Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son."

For some reason I always think of Flounder when I hear the name Michael Moore.

Me, I'm glad they left him on till the 45 seconds went, because the BOOS and shocked looks accompanied it. People won't believe how anti-American he is until they hear that. Cockroaches wither in the light. Now, let's be sure that the boos don't get "Hillary"ed out of the audio track.

I couldn't agree more. Plenty of the ones that had given him the standing O had panicked looks on their faces as he spewed. Maybe they were having a Dixie Chicks moment.

Ack...here's Susan Sarandon, looking like Vampira.

Well I think it is great that a lot of the Hollywood community let Michael Moore know that they didn't agree with what he was saying. That is the story of the night not what the loudmouth Moore had to say.

Absolutely.

And combining posts - I don't think it was horrible that the producers for "Twin Towers" followed Moore ... I think it was sweet, because it showed the sharp contrast between the two - AND the difference in the reception to the recipients.

I am very happy with the booing at Michael Moore. I was afraid it was going to be drowned out by cheers, but it came through loud and clear.

The ironic part was Moore inviting the other documentary filmmakers on stage (apparently, he was pretty maddog confident he was going to get it and let them ride his coattails) and saying on their behalf, "We like non-fiction..." John Fund's column in the Wall Street Journal Friday exposed how in Bowling For Columbine, Moore skillfully manufactured cinematic illusions and passed them off as fact, such as walking into a bank and getting a free gun the same day (his producers had arranged for him to receive the gun after he had undergone the required background check), his doctoring of the 1992 Willie Horton campaign ads, his deception about Charlton Heston's public appearances after mass shootings, and worst of all, his editing and reconstruction of Heston's speeches at those appearances to transform the content and context of what Heston said, in an apparently successful attempt to make Heston into a straw man easily tumbling by Moore's rhetorical windbreaking.

I would encourage all people who are truly fans of "non-fiction" to make Moore eat his words.

That's true -- I forgot about that! I am still in shock to hear that large of anti-Moore sentiment! Maybe there is hope after all and some people in the Hollywood community have finally had it!

Actually she is bordering on insane...which is why she would call the Marines to sign up given her Hollywood associations.
