So, the message is that stalkers and rapists and jilted boyfriends are only interested in women who are at least 25?

So why is Gov. Bill Richardson, the Monica interviewer and job finder and general willing pimp, going to be signing this bill?

Yea! I'm really happy about this. I have carried my gun even though it was illegal because we do have such a high murder/rape rate in NM. I had to chose between being a victim or being a criminal. I chose criminal after a lady that lived a block from me was raped and murdered! I take my gun with me all the time.

I grew up in Carlsbad. I haven't been back in 25 years but, unless things there have radically changed, those cowboys don't give a d*mn if there is a law or not, they been carrying right along...

There is actually a grave marker out in Rocky Arroyo that legend has it was a horse thief. That was where they found him. If I remember the date is 1913. I last saw it in '69. Impressed me. I can't even ride a horse, but I got the message.

The reason that New Mexico is Democrat is the lefties that moved to Taos and Santa Fe.

Ah, but once the law is in place allowing concealed carry, the restrictions can always be reduced. Incrementalism works both ways. And it works especially well when the "Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt" spouted by the anti-gunners about "gunfights in the streets" never pans out.

Ask any law enforcement personnel and they will tell you the crime rate plummets when citizens are licensed to carry a concealed weapon.
