All part of the information war. They even kindly floodlit the planes so the reporters could see them load the ALCM's.

It's kinda hard to hide 14 B-52's taking off in the middle of England.

Look for strikes around...oh...about 7am GMT.

Is there really a need to have repetitive war coverage on every single channel 24 hours a day? Most people can't sit through the same news being reported over and over. If something major happens then they would obviously interrupt current programming but as it is they have an update about every 30 minutes.

Maybe to see if they can get some movement from the "military leaders" before they hit??? Also, to warn the civilians to stay away from specifically, previously named targets...i.e. gov't buildings....this is a workday for them.

I was afraid of that too ... I should hope their are plenty of roving patrols inside the perimeter besides perimeter defenses ...

With Saddam dead (or in a coma), who else is there, besides Dan, to rally the Iraqis?

This, if true, is an important and urgent story on which only CBS apparently has any information. Going back to basketball in such circumstances is stupid.

Remember the story about John Mohammed, the DC sniper, causing an explosion in his tent while deployed during the Gulf War?

Huh? There is presently coverage of golf, NCAA basketball, etc. CNBC is giving a paid infomercial. Only CNN and Fox presently giving coverage.

Doesn't really matter now. The B-52's seem to be taking off every 6-10 hours now, so basically they are bombing round the clock. I believe this is the third wave in the last 15 hours.
