Well-if outraged people call in-enough-and mention sponsors will be contacted as the only means available to demonstrate outrage...ears perk up. I believe it. And ya know-ya never know what might spark ( in ABC and NBC's case, anyway) a miniscule moment of conscience.

It feels more real to me when I do something like this along with preaching to the choir! But I sure would not want to encourage them....that is where mentioning a few sponsors and indicating that Mon the home office of each will be getting a phone call along with a sign in my car indicating companys support of dispiriting our troops might make at least one person take note. Maybe.

I've called, and written, and complained. At best I get a "I hear you" response, but ususally the response is an attempt to defend their position, and by implication, undermine mine. The only thing the understand is ratings. I don't watch 'em, but they don't monitor my viewing habits. When lots of people don't watch 'em, they'll change their ways or go out of business.
