I don't know if we're going to bother. The weapons we use target by GPS. Some oily smoke isn't going to deter those boom booms.

Do we have the ability to extinguish the oil trench fires from the air? Dunno, and probably doesn't matter (personally, I say, let 'em burn).
The CNN crew made it to Jordan.

Nita, they don't hide. They just turn away from the other guys a ways from the vehicle and let it rip.Ask that the camera is turned off, dig a hole, and do their business.
You're trying to tell me that all these embedded journalists just dig a hole and squat in front of everyone?! Egads. It's a good thing I'm not along for the ride. I would have the mother of all fecal impactions by now.

They showed some equipment that puts these out by sucking the oxygen out.
Anyone know the wind direction? It was west to east yesterday.

I'm trying to follow this, watch the TV for the Centcom brief and follow my nephew on the PGA tour all at the same time! This morning he's finishing yesterday's rained-out round at the Bay Hills Invitational...he's currently tied with Woods & Baddely or the lead! I'm on overload here. Don't know what I'll do when the tourney is on TV this afternoon.

Thanks Woodman.

BBC fixated on casualties now. Yesterday they kept showing that photo op at the hospital. They have no figures but they're conjecturing.
"Surely, with all those bombs that have fallen, there had to have been casualties."
Will Sky get their streaming in back up?
To: null and void
BBC reporting Iraqi sources say 200-300 injured, 2 killed in Bagdad. [Even BBC admits, considering that 300+ cruise missiles hit, the casualty rate is extremely low.]

Dunno, but CNN sure picked a fine time to do some work on a conference above their New York studios.
