I wonder why they didn't put up an array of barrage balloons to protect against low flying craft. Wingspan of a TLAM is much smaller than that of a WWII bomber.

The B-52's are subsonic, cruising probably 600 knots (650 mph (perhaps) ground speed, depending on wind direction aloft.) But its a long flight of several thousand miles: they won't be over Bagdad (or some other "area" target until 6-8 hours from takeoff. Multiply a knot by 1.151 and you get mph. For every 100kph you get 115mph.

Something about "we'd like to talk to them about war crimes" and "crimes against humanity" comes to mind.

3-4 days of air. I wonder who is on the Sunday morning shows? Time to get some of our politicians to again reiterate their position on the administration's actions.

Dog, ignore my post. When you said "Colette just saw", my brain read it as "Colette I just saw" - thought you had seen it yourself rather than saying that I had seen it. Sorry, need some sleep!
To: Mo1
