6-8 hours one way. Depends on ultimate destination in Iraq. There is a 3 hour time zone difference too, Noon UK is 3PM Iraq.

One hour from UK to Iraq?!?!?
No, no.
The B-52's are subsonic, cruising probably 600 knots (650 mph (perhaps) ground speed, depending on wind direction aloft.) But its a long flight of several thousand miles: they won't be over Bagdad (or some other "area" target until 6-8 hours from takeoff.

Still no feeds from the field correspondants embedded with the convoys going north. (Greg Kelly etc) It's been about an hour.

Matthews is always going which ever way the wind blows. Especially on his show and then he'll turn and write a nasty editorial. Matthews is a liberal to and at the core but he knows it isn't popular so he tries to come across as a moderate or when he's really desparate, as a conservative. He seems to admire people with principles on occassion but since he has none, it doesn't last long.
Matthews is nothing more than a blowhard.

I am printing for distribution and emailing these stories. During the entire war debate, the one thing I could never resolve was how could we walk away from the innocents in Iraq. While I believed we should take military action one could never know for certain Saddam's threat with more accuracy than the stories from the people there.
