Thanks for everything. Just out of curiosity, how many new members have signed up since the war started...not counting any that have been obvious disruptors?

I love the night vision. Watching the fighting at night and the actions of the troops brings it closer to home. Thank goodness for their efforts, and the j-man for reporting it for us here stateside.

Fox reporting the death of the 4 members of the 3rd ID. Not the same group withing 3rd ID that Fox reporter is embedded with. Pentagon is giving complete accounting of known deaths, so far.

Scoochs I can undertand. :-)I hoped the language wasn't too technical, but a scooch IS more than a smidge, as you know.

"They aren't too hard to pick out when you start observing their patterns of posting over a period of time" Especially when tbey slip up and use certain DU type buzz words, which they almost invariably do.

Easy: A kilometer is 2000 ft less than a U.S. mile
Mile = 5280'
Kilometer = 3280'

I wonder if all leaflet dropping suspended when the war started? Seems it would so easy to hit the perimeter of Baghdad - the ground in republican guard - about now, with a barage of 'how to surrender and survive materials' just to make sure every troop had a chance to see um.
To: The Wizard
i counted ten seconds between the flash and the report of that last explosion. two clicks?

Greta isn't irritating me near as much as I thought she would when she first came to Fox. I was extremely critical... I haven't seen much of her coverage on the war, I admit. She is excellent at her questioning, however, and the way she can unemotionally get to the heart of things. Again - I haven't heard her coverage on this war, so I'm not sure what you heard that was bothering you.
Cheers, CC :)

metric scooch or s.a.e.?This is a universal measurement. It has to do with slices of pie & cake, maybe ice cream (as in "give me a smidge of cake--no, give me a scooch more"). A dab, btw, is less than a smidge.
To: TigersEye
"I think that would be a waste of paper" Especially since it would necessarily make the presumption that these "publik ejukashun" geniuses can read.
