Personally I have no idea how this information is being confirmed. Heck, Saddam appeared on a video and people couldn't agree if it was him. How do we know the identity of someone on a stretcher...except for the supposed mole we have.

No way SH would entertain the thought of Iraqis being POWs. That would be admitting he wasn't invincible. Besides, he never cared about his people so why would he ask us to be kind to them?

From what I gather, the digging came from ariel or satellite photo, which resource may not be able to track raod traffic.
