Approx. 600 miles from north to south, 500 miles from east to west, at the widest points.
Think Texas from the Red River to the Rio Grande and Louisiana to Lubbock.

Nope, I don't think so at all. I'm a little surprised right now that the remaining political heads in Iraq have managed to put together these little tv tidbits.

( If you steal from one author, it's plagiarism; if you steal from many, it's research(never forget)

Personally I have no idea how this information is being confirmed. Heck, Saddam appeared on a video and people couldn't agree if it was him. How do we know the identity of someone on a stretcher...except for the supposed mole we have.

But do we want the regime to collapse until we are on top of the outer ring and can move into Baghdad quickly? A bloody retribution civil war in the city would be bad PR.

No way SH would entertain the thought of Iraqis being POWs. That would be admitting he wasn't invincible. Besides, he never cared about his people so why would he ask us to be kind to them?
This tape has got to be a hoax.

I am POSITVE there will be a public airing of the charge, given substantial airplay by the media.
To: bornintexas
this is going to be pretty damn funny if there were negotiating on the behalf of a man who had been dead for two days
To: Otta B Sleepin
Greta was discussing it, and then she said...(no kidding) enough of that, let's cut back to the ambulance
To: Otta B Sleepin
Yeah, that;s out of character for him, POWs are expendable, he's never cared in the past
This can't be real

Agreed. Yeah, we can't have that. The thread clearly states: situation room- Day 2.

From what I gather, the digging came from ariel or satellite photo, which resource may not be able to track raod traffic.
To: Cboldt
The judge said it was not legally declared. I don't know anything about that end of it
To: cactusSharp
that's what I hear. I'm eastcoast. You guys have a couple hours on me.
To: gop212
it was reported that he was on tv asking the allies to be fair (or kind) to the Iraqi POW's..
which would be odd for him to say wouldn't it...

My wife and I do not have any after 11 years of trying. I just caught the exchange between the 2 of you earlier.
