It's either nonsense, disinformation, or yet another clintonoid leak from the CIA. Take your pick.

an interesting possibility. i looked more closely at the saddam video this evening, and the guy was breathing too slowly -- either drugged to the gills or terribly wounded or both. this would make it more likely that others decide to freelance.
and if i'm right, who knows? we may soon being chanting a little ditty: saddam had 'em.

MSNBC is surrendering? To whom? FoxNews? Yippee!!!!!
To: kattracks
I wouldn't blow this off just yet - we may have actually killed Sadpoop and one or two of his boys yesterday.
If so, that was all the que senior Republican Guards needed.
It would take at least 12 to 24 hours to set up surrender channels.

As I said in another thread, I don't think we are privy to 10% of what is happening. This is probably the biggest media event ever, but we know next to nothing. We have ground forces flying north, strange pinpoint attacks, is Saddam dead? Now, if you think that's frustrating for us, imagine being a high up Iraqi official, or Saddam himself? We must be screwing with these guys minds something fierce.

I wonder if this report has caused the demise of any Republican Guard commanders yet ? Saddam might cap some of his own commanders that had no intention of surrender just because we leaked this bogus info.
Great technique.

FOX was discussing it, too. Apparently, the break in bombing Bagdad is to give them time to weigh their options. Military advisor said we shouldn't wait much longer than noon tomorrow or it could get real dangerous.

The French have surrendered!
To: kattracks
Could be part of the Stategery. Disinformation for a purpose. If the Iraqi soldiers think other Iraqi soldiers are surrendering it may make mass surrender more of a possibility.
From an earlier thread today about Aziz taking the bait:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/869886/posts The U.S. targeted the leaders after engineering reports yesterday that Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz had defected. The reports prompted Aziz to go on live television yesterday to prove his loyalty, allowing the U.S. to track the source of the transmission and follow Aziz's movements, Sky reported.

The way you wrote this appears we are surrendering to them!
