I always thought a casualty was dead; I thought wounded was wounded. (Did I really have more than that one glass of wine at dinner)

CNN's last hope was to make a good showing in the war coverage like they did in 1991. Last night's rating have to be devastating. This is great news.

Do you get the feeling that Blix is starting to think about having this whole mess laid in his lap. Probably had France's word it would never go this far. Now France and the rest may be planning on putting the blame for the down fall of the UN on him. Poor Blix is set up to be the most lonely man on Earth very soon.

Tomorrow is a holy day of prayer in Iraq, says Sen. Rockafeller on CNBC and we won't see S&A until after then, if at all. He said he knows something but can't say what it is.

No S&A? After getting everybody's expectation up leading into the war?
This is becoming real boring real fast.
You can be sure the antiwar crowd will exploit this as a growing quagmire...and the financial markets betting on a quick resolution of the war will lose their upward momentum as well.

I cannot edit photos. I cannot even figure out how to turn an adobe edited photo into a jpg

but I did turn it into a pdf file

it gives you an idea how different a drawing can look with some colorization

a shock and awe colorization drawing would look good done by an expert

Yeh.
And France, Germany, Russia, China are worried their logos may appear on some no-no equipment/supplies after the dust settles.

On MSNBC, they were just talking about how our troops will be welcomed as liberators when they reach Basra, and how images of the Iraqis welcoming the troops there may have a great psychological impact on the Iraqi army. I couldn't help but immediately think about how people like Sheen and Sarandon and Glover would view such a welcome. I'm willing to bet they'd actually go so far as to believe that our troops forced the Iraqis at gunpoint to pretend they were happy to see us. Conversely, these Hollywood leftists would never believe that the pro-Saddam rallies in Iraq were organized at gunpoint.

Oh do I beg to differ with your assessment of S&A being postponed or cancelled altogether. #1 - Barring any unpredicted news, the markets will LOVE that the war is going SO well that we may not have to spend huge amounts of $$ to get the Iraqi soldiers to surrender. #2 - what make you think this is a quagmire? Quite the opposite is true. See #1. #3 - this isn't being played out for your entertainment. If the war is going to well that Iraqi leadership is crumbling and we don't need to place our troops and our allies troops in harm's way, and you're disappointed by that, I have to truly wonder where you are coming from.

Have patience, my friend. If there is no need for S&A, why make a mess we'll have to clean up later? Even better if the bastards cave without all the fireworks, and inevitable civilian casualities, not to mention U.S. military casualities. Remember, this isn't a video game. War is not entertainment or for our amusement. Real lives are on the line here.

They've captured the first towns, control all of the Iraqi coast and have surrounded the southern city of Basra within 24 hours. Perhaps you need to take a nap since its so boring, perhaps when you wake up we'll be in Baghdad. Sheesh!
