[history]
THIS present war will not last long, but its effects will echo for decades. And they will be positive effects - for Iraq, for the Middle East, for the world beyond the theater of conflict and for the United States of America.

the anti-war, anti-Bush Dems et al are telling bald-faced lies. They've gotten away with it for so long (thanks to a complicit press) that I really think they're just stunned when people stand up and challenge them.

Peters raises a few good points, but this piece is essentially shallow. Note that he never discusses Islam or anti-Semitism, which are not incidental elements of this conflict. If they are not addressed, this "War that will change the World" won't change as many things as he imagines.

The new American policy toward which the times have driven us is as radically different as our critics fear. It breaks with a failed and blood-soaked past. The Treaty of Westphalia is now officially DEAD!

I agree, although I like the impetus of the article.
This war is being won without the help of the libertation-theology backin of the UN, without Israel's intervention, without the Vaticans [misplaced] support, and without overtly being either for or against Islam.
He is right for other reasons, this is epochal.

Let's get those chickens hatched first. Seem to be some peeping sounds coming from the hen house. What would that be causing that? Chicks hatching already?

.....We've got to turn on the Dems...
The Rat base would support Bill Clinton if he somehow mounted an armed coup. The Rats would support a dictator in a heart beat if he espoused the leftist views of big government that promises cradle to grave security and freedom from responsibility.
The Rats are very dangerous.
