Terminate Ann Coulter's syndication
Ann Coulter has long been considered one of the worst syndicated columnists in history. Not only is she incapable of critical thinking, but her writing style is banal and full of witticisms that could easily be attributed to an eleven-year old. Nevertheless, some companies still feel that they need to carry her venomous rants. I should point out that National Review, a magazine renowned for its very conservative slant and its bloodthirsty anti-Muslim columnists, elected to terminate Ann Coulter.
As an update, there was a certain amount of activity last week due to an article by World Net Daily. Read some of the emails we received here.
Please take the time to send the letter below to the following links. Please title your emails "Terminate Ann Coulter's Column".

Write to FrontPage Magazine. These guys are extremely anti-Muslim and fanatic fascists in their pursuit of conservatism. It is run by a David Horowitz, who loves Ann because she suggested that we invade Islamic countries and convert them to Christianity. Little hope of convincing them to drop Ann Coulter, I'm afraid, but we should let them know that she sucks.
Dear Sir/Madam;
I would like to express my total dissatisfaction with your organization's syndication of columnist Ann Coulter. Not only is she one of the worst columnists in recent history, she is also one of the most vindictive and bloodthirsty writers on today's circuit. Ann Coulter's comments on various talk shows and through her columns portray her to be a vindictive, egocentric, and thoroughly anti-Muslim bigot that has the bad habit of speaking before she thinks. Some of her more recent comments include:
[about Muslims] "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."
"[Clinton] masturbates in the sinks."---Rivera Live 8/2/99
"God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, 'Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours.'"---Hannity & Colmes, 6/20/01
To a disabled Vietnam vet: "People like you caused us to lose that war."---MSNBC
"I think we had enough laws about the turn-of-the-century. We don't need any more." Asked how far back would she go to repeal laws, she replied, "Well, before the New Deal...[The Emancipation Proclamation] would be a good start."---Politically Incorrect 5/7/97
It is evident that this "writer" is nothing more than a mouthpiece for ultra-reactionary conservatives, and a blowhard at that. She does not represent American values; her comments fly in the face of everything that Americans stand for, including the conservative population. She is disgusting and vindictive, and is unable to generate a single original idea. Her columns are always about how evil Muslims are, or how all environmentalists should be sentenced to death. Even conservative organizations like the National Review have dropped her syndication, citing a lack of professional ethics and integrity.
I am fairly certain that Ann Coulter does not represent the ideas and values of your company. In fact, the only people she can claim to represent are bigots. I therefore ask that you immediately cancel the appearance of her column from your organization. I also would like to ask that you issue a public statement that informs the media that the reason that Ann Coulter was dropped was because of her paranoid and vindictive bigotry, and that she does not represent the values and the culture of your organization.
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Just gotta correct just one of the many glaring inaccuracies. The New Deal was NOT, repeat NOT, the Emancipation Proclamation. Sheesh.
As a fundamentalist Christian, I believe that the Bible is the truth and that every bit of it is the inspired Word of God.
In the OT, God commanded His Chosen people to serve Him only, and on occasion to blot out entire nations of people who worshipped false gods. Those commands were specific, not universal. Now that Christ has been given and we live under a new covenant with God, he has commanded that we love one another, that we take the Gospel of Christ to all nations, and that we be a light and salt in a world of darkness.
I'm anxiously and curiously awaiting your citation of Scriptures that advocate violence against non-Christians, or your previously mentioned advocacy of wife-beating.
The Quran is what one takes from it. The Bible has some nasty quotes as well. The American Islamists are in the year 2003 and realize that some of these quotes were for their own time (like the Bibles quotes about beating wives). The idiot Islamists, who are living in the 14th century and letting the Imans tell them what the book says, are he ones we have to worry about. I've read it as well and the Old Testament could be used the same way if we were, "A Religion of Peace." The difference is that we don't use our religion to control the masses and live in a free country.Islam isn't inherently any more evil a religion than Christianity, its just less advanced chronologically. Considering that six hundred years ago (or less) the various aspects of Christianity were constantly warring on other faiths (and indeed on each other), and considering the literal meaning of certain Leviticus and Deuteronomy verses, Jesus's admonition about throwing stones comes to mind.
One thing that's certain is that if we as conservatives or America as a nation declares all of Islam to be our enemy, it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'd just as soon judge individuals as individuals regardless of their faith.

Thank you Eric, that's what I was trying to say.Actually I prefer Fishbones in Greektown. >:)
Living in the Detroit area, if one is not meeting a Muslim, it is not a day.
And may I put in a plug for my fav restaurant, The Meer in Sterling Heights....
People are people, killers are killers. Not all who are Islamic are killers. Some are in my daughter's kindergarten class.
Seriously, that's precisely it. Most of the convenience stores around here are owned by Arabs...some Christian and some Muslim. They work their butts off to get ahead, take care of their families, and don't tend to go after welfare. I also knew quite a few Muslims in college. Some were good people, some bad. Just like anyone else.
-Eric
No, please do! Actually, I ripped it off from another message board to begin with, and as soon as I can get my personal content area back in one piece, I'm gonna move it there.

I would urge you to actually research this position, rather than simply parroting what amounts to the current wisdom that Islam is a "religion of peace." It is not. It is an inherently evil religion, which commands its adherents to subjugate, dismember, and murder other human beings.
Contrarians like to point out that Christians [or Jews, or...] have done bad things too. The difference is that Christians are expressively forbidden to do those things, whereas Muslims are expressly required to do them.Good Christians don't behave this way. "Good" Muslims do.
...its just less advanced chronologically.
This claim is altogether preposterous. Muslims aren't living in a different world from the rest of us, and they seem perfectly capable of grasping the latest innovations in science, technology, economics, or whatever they apply themselves to.
At various times and in various places Muslims have shown themselves to be quite capable of living peacefully with other religions--especially if Islam wasn't the majority faith in a society, or if it served the economic interests of Muslims. So "chronology" quite simply isn't relevant.
and considering the literal meaning of certain Leviticus and Deuteronomy verses, Jesus's admonition about throwing stones comes to mind.
Quite apt, although you probably don't realize why. Whatever the "literal meaning" you're trying to attach to OT verses, all Christians have some version of progressive revelation, or the fulfillment of the covenant in the Person of Christ. There is no progressive revelation in Islam. The most "peaceful" and the most bloody-minded of the Koranic verses are equally binding. In fact, some of the bloodier ones actually take precedence, because Mohammed claimed they abrogated some of his earlier, more tolerant revelations.
