Sounds like something out of the Montgomery Clift movie, "Wild River", where the TVA attempts to evict a woman from her homestead for a dam project!

Sounds like he's still screwed tho, just has a little longer to hang out before the official screwing begins.
To: farmfriend
It looks like our emails helped hold them back for a bit.

John,
It's just wonderful to see you keeping an eagle eye on these property rights issues.

Good news warms the heart.
You all should be extremely proud of yourselves, I consider myself lucky to have gotten to know you all.
You changed someones life and were doing God's work at the same time. What a beautiful morning it is.

Now if it will just hold.
The farmers in Klamath and the ranchers in Jarbidge are facing the same situation to this day, a tenuous, seemingly temporary victory, but one that was hard won and that they are savoring as long as they can ... while they continue to put the pressure on.
The same must occur here. Like interest, tyranny never sleeps.
Best regards.

The letter wrtiting campaign did it's job, also the photographer who took that picture of Jesse did a good job.
