The tyrant will soon be gone. With those words, President Bush left no doubt with Saddam Hussein or with the world that the years of a brutal dictatorship in Iraq will soon be over. In an address to the American people, and to the Iraqi people, Bush reiterated the many steps for diplomacy and peace that the United States and her allies have followed in the past 12 years- to no avail. The President told the Iraqis that their liberation is near and warned any Iraqi soldiers to think twice before releasing chemical or biological weapons. Bush also issued warnings to any terrorists that, 'If our enemies dare to strike us, they and all who have aided them, will face fearful consequences.' Earlier in the day, Bush met with congressional leaders and outlined tonights speech, and ultimately prepared them for military conflict. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya! I know I will.

And ... Eagleburger also said that Carter did the same thing during the first Gulf War - he also called other nations and told them not to join the coalition ... beyond the pale ... amazing!

Bod-a-thon info: I tried a new low-carb candy bar today called "Pure Delight" -- have any of you heard of or tried it? I thought it was delicious; it's Belgian chocolate, lots cheaper than CarboLite and much richer tasting.

Watch out for Bahy in 2008...he has a way of looking reasonable (no matter how phoney that is!) He'll let these lightweights burn themselves out in 2004 - then only have to dispose of Hillary for the nomination in 2008...I told my boys in 1997 that G. W. Bush would be the next president (when we saw him at a Ranger game) but let's hope I'm wrong here !!

Glad to hear your good news!

Daschle is a master pouter.
Trouble is, he's leading dems at the national level.
Reminds me of how we got national whiplash whenever blubba x42 got in a snit, or felt cornered, and took us all for a ride.

yes I've call his office reapeatedly and told him: "What a sorry state of affairs it is for the dems when pelosi and daschle represent the "leadership." No wonder they are sinking like a lead balloon." Perhaps you're using too many multi-syllabled words for him to get the basic meaning?

His palace bunker is 300 feet underground with 9 ft walls. Do we have any bombs to crack his nest? We have commandos. And lots of other cool stuff.

I don't think Tom is blind - except for partianship. Ever since Hitlery has been in the Senate, Tom has been a different person. His whole demeaner has changed. I have suspected that Hitlery has him under her thumb and uses him to say what she really thinks about Bush, without having to say it herself and then be held accountable for it. Just lately she had the whole dem party saying all types of bad things about the war - then a couple of weeks ago, she came out in favor of it. That was just toooooo coincidental for me. I suspect she has something on Tom which helps to keep him in line - and she scripts all these little idiotic things he says.

The President looks like he's lost weight. It is my suspicion that the president fasts and prays.

[from CatOwner] My word, President Bush looks so drained! <
[From Kath, professional show-er of dogs] I disagree R U just saying that cuz she's a CatOwner? ;-)

I hate to say this but,IMO, Evan is an opportunist. He'll say what ever he thinks will make him look good at the time. I agree ..

he said Carter in 91 had contacted a number of countries to go against us What the hell is wrong with that man and WHY doesn't someone shut him up Well, we can look at it this way. While the good Lord still allows Jimmah Cahtah to remain standing and breathing, blubba x42 clinton has one extra ex-president to share the limelight with. And that, however darkly twisted one must think in order to see it, must have some merit in it.
That's about all I can think of to say in defense of God leaving Jimmah around to do his nasty work.

I guess Tommy can't claim he doesn't know what going on ... We got a picture of him IN THE MEETING Look for the Great Ear Wax Build-up Excuse.
To: rintense
Geez, what a bad picture. I don't like that my President has a cold sore. Means he's feeling an awful lot of stress.
