A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 3/17/03

The tyrant will soon be gone. With those words, President Bush left no doubt with Saddam Hussein or with the world that the years of a brutal dictatorship in Iraq will soon be over. In an address to the American people, and to the Iraqi people, Bush reiterated the many steps for diplomacy and peace that the United States and her allies have followed in the past 12 years- to no avail. The President told the Iraqis that their liberation is near and warned any Iraqi soldiers to think twice before releasing chemical or biological weapons. Bush also issued warnings to any terrorists that, 'If our enemies dare to strike us, they and all who have aided them, will face fearful consequences.' Earlier in the day, Bush met with congressional leaders and outlined tonights speech, and ultimately prepared them for military conflict. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya! I know I will.

Evan Bayh is just as evil and wicked as daschle.

He's been stiffing his constituents recently because he won't allow a vote on Estrada. He won't talk to constituents or answer mail on the subject. He does lots and lots of wicked things, then comes out with one statement like this. It is the least he could do. It would be nice if he would use his votes as well as his mouth. He kept the impeached one in office.

I do not know why he is doing this, and it is all right that he is saying this about supporting the president, but he is evil and wicked and I can't ever forget that.

I was disappointed in his answer to O'Reilly's question, asking him what he would say to Daschele. Bayh said he would say that we should support the troops. I would have been more impressed if he would have said that we should support the PRESIDENT. Bayh... pppfffftttt!

I agree with you that President Bush looks confident, and peaceful, although a little sad. Dashhole looks like an angry and deranged homeless guy that someone slapped a salvation army suit on before he appeared on camera.

Boy, you got that right!

I was reading a story in USA Today, and they were quoting Biden. It seems Biden told Bush he should use a little nuance. Bush said to Biden, "I don't do nuance". Said like a true COWBOY!!!

NUANCE MEANS (for those who aren't sure what it means):

(1) A subtle or slight degree of difference, as in meaning, feeling, or tone; a gradation.

(2) Expression or appreciation of subtle shades of meaning, feeling, or tone.

From what I have seen of Bayh, I consider him much more of a threat than my ambulance-chasing walking-ad-for-laxatives senator Edwards. Pretty Boy comes across as a hairdo with absolutely nothing under it. In the interviews I have seen with Bayh he sounds very reasonable ..... I know better, but the non-newshounds won't. I hope that you folks can do something to get rid of him before he truly emerges on the national scene.

Oh, Mystery, you've been on my mind. Godspeed to Jonathan and Mike. We're praying non stop for your men and you.

I'm feeling such a jumble of emotions tonight. Let's just get it done.
