My nephew Christopher, age 4, in Michigan is very ill. He has been dehydrated and vomiting, and now they suspect a bowel obstruction. He is on his way by helo to Grand Rapids (from their home in Grayling) and my brother and his wife are driving down (about a 2 hour trip, bet they make it in considerably less.)
Please pray for safe travel, and for the skill of the doctors to determine the correct course of treatment! God Bless the helicopter pilot and personnel, and the healthcare workers taking care of Chris!
God Bless Chris and make him well.

Father God, Thank you for the call to pray for this little one and his family. I pray for the traveling involved and that everyone will arrive safely to the hospital. Grant peace to the parents as they drive the longest drive of their life. Grant wisdom to the Docs and a quick diagnosis to the illness threatening Christopher. Grant healing and a return to health and may praise to You be heard! In the name of Jesus I pray....

Hold on, bud. Sometimes little ones can come down suddenly with problems and it scares the fire out of you. I've been there. You just trust God and wait. The waiting is the hard part.

update: Chris is in the ICU, mom is by his side. The doctor says he has good bowel sounds, so no obstruction, no surgery.
They are checking everything to see what is causing the illness. Most likely thought to be a bad intestinal virus.
Chris is in lots of discomfort and pain and calling for mama. Mom can stay right in his room next to him. Dad is closeby in a family-room provided by the hospital (it's 1 am there, they will most likely take turns sitting up with Chris.)
Situation is stable, flight was perfect, mom and dad got there safely.
Thank you so much for your prayers, and please continue to pray for Chris's comfort and healing as they care for him.
