Wow. Blix just admitted that the it is impossible for the inspections process to achieve its objective.

Hopped back on the thread to see if you were watching Tierney on Fox. He said he thinks Saddam does have a nuclear weapon---at least one, maybe nine. Said flat out that the inspectors do not want to find weapons, just keep the "process" going.

Careful, Tierney has said some really loopy stuff in the past, including on Art Bell's show. Any claims he make need independent confirmation.

yes that is the deadline FOR THE UN....

now we will have to issue more ultimatums and get outs to the inspectors....
they will get till the end of this week.

then we have to issue the public ultimatums and get outs to sadaam and uday... they will be given "days or weeks" but not "months or years"

then we will also have to revisit the issues unresolved with Turkey regarding our tanks and equipment, offloaded in their port, but without requisite american troops to either use or take them back...

btw, we had a deadline LAST week too. BUSH said that it would be voted on, up or down, EARLY last week. This is sunday. There has been NO vote.

I hope we don't cave on the vote tomorrow when Chiraq agrees "in principle" to deadlines and specific goals for disamament... in exchange for two more weeks, to try and work out details for Sadaam's place of exhile...

I look for Chiraq to pretend that "things have changed" and try to negotiate more time for Sadaam, Russia, Germany and China to attack us...
