She wanted the other animals to help her make bread. When they all refused to help, she did it herself. When they all asked her for some of the bread when she was done, she told them to stick it.

so what now
what is the deadline
To: alnick
My impression is that the message to the UN is, "We're going in now. Are you coming along with us or not?" It could also mean, "Do you want to end this charade, or will the UN wind up in the dustbin of world organizations like the League of Nations."
To: RummyChick
GW seemed to say tomorrow.

Amen to that. Blair speaking passionately, "more discussion is just more delay."

Along with Japan and Australia. But not to worry, this is one of several alliances.
To: Nexus
But does not say why...Yes, he did. Saddam is to disarm immediately (that means now--today) or that's it.
Blair up. Final opportunity. He's using the word "had" as in Saddam *had* the opportunity to disarm and did not.
See? It is clear we are going in.
Blair: More discussion is just more delay.

When Bush said March 17th, it looks like he meant 17th, when he used that line about tomorrow being the day the world will have to decide. Interesting point.

Blair is laying out the plan...No more discussion
To: Amelia
Tony Blair really does seem sick, poor fellow. I read yesterday that there were concerns for his health, apparently, according to one column from the UK. Hope he can get some rest and recover, not easy to be doing this when you're as sick as he must be.
Thanks for doing this live thread!
To: Amelia
Tony's bashing France! And he's ANGRY!

Dunno but the Spaniard's translator is getting on my last nerve. British PM Blair is on now and he requires minimal translation.

Blair: It is our responsibility to uphold resolution 1441.
All along I've been saying that WE are upholding what the 15 security council voted on. Delayers are NOT.

True, those countries are left out, but then again they were not invited to the Azores either. There has got to be a reason for that. Canada didn't get an invite to Casablanca, Tehran or Yalta either (to the best of my knowledge). Nothing against those other countries, but the leadership is going to come from the countries you see here.
To: Crawdad
Wonderful! Thank you!
To: ConservativeMan55
This sure seems weaker than people expected. War within days? Hmmmmm, don't count on it....
