Speaking of the French, did you know that their tanks have five gears? Yes, it's true. Four reverse gears and one forward gear - in case they are attacked from behind.

My absolute favorite Miller Line of all time came from his appearance on Donahue a few weeks ago, a Godfather rip that went more or less like this:

"France? Yeah here's my message to France: Gas up the dinghy and go fishing with Fredo, because you are dead to me!"

That brings us to... well, you know where that brings us, to the French. The French, you might as well gas up the dinghy and go fishing with Fredo because you are dead to me, okay. You know something? These pricks are now putting — they're putting swastikas on our flag in France. You've got all those boys buried in Normandy. And after we had the good taste to chisel the armpit hair off the Statue of Liberty you gave us, you know something, I — always thought that tint was oxdized copper. Little did I know it was green with envy.

LOL!

You know, Jay, I used to be a liberal. You look at what happens in the State of California with untethered liberalism. Everybody in this state in charge now is a Democrat. It's no longer the Andreas Fault, it's Gray Davis's fault.

Aint that the truth!

"If you're in a peace march and the guy next to you has a sign that says Bush is Hitler, forget the peace thing for a second and beat his ass, because he is not Hitler."

"1. Political prerequisites. It is my unalterable decision to smash Czechoslovakia Iraq by military action in the near future. It is the job of the political leaders to await or bring about the politically and militarily suitable moment.

"An inevitable development of conditions inside Czechoslovakia Iraq or other political events in Europe the Middle East, creating a surprisingly favorable opportunity and one which may never come again, may cause me to take early action.

"The proper choice and determined and full utilization of a favorable moment is the surest guarantee of success. Accordingly the preparations are to be made at once.

"2. Political possibilities for the commencement of the action. The following are necessary prerequisites for the intended invasion:

"a. Suitable obvious cause and with it, b. sufficient political justification,. c. action unexpected by the enemy, which will find him prepared in the least possible degree.

"From a military as well as a political standpoint the most favorable course is-a lightning-swift action as the result of an incident through which Germany The US is provoked in an unbearable way for which at least part of world opinion will grant the moral justification of military action..."

I saw Ed Harris one night speaking at a pro-choice — pro-choice rally. Ed Harris the actor said we shouldn't go to war. I was thinking if you can't get your head around the war, why don't you just think of it as choosing to abort Saddam Hussein. Wouldn't that be a rationale that you could possibly —

He was in fine form, judging from the transcript. I wish I'd seen it.

This is not comedy, it's poetry.
