Ignorance is Blix says the Iraqis have no scuds, so that is a mistake.

More troops with SCUD missle launchers are heading west. The inspectors don't see this, these are banned weapons, they can fly hundreds of miles, the inspectors don't see these, everybody is ignoring these missiles.

It has always been Saddam's war to wage and lose. Looks like he has decided losing is to his advantage.

Brokaw on NBC reported that chemical-capable artillery was deploying "within range" of Kuwait, and that "surface-to-surface" missle-launchers are being deployed in western Iraq. This was over an hour ago. (about 0640 EST)

So lets see. We still don't have a resolution in the UN to "authorize" use of force. And we probably won't. Why are we even still trying? Meanwhile, Saddam gets to move his forces to the border and have them dig in. This is getting rediculous!
Let's roll right now, we can catch the Iraqi army out in the open. Tomorrow will be to late.
To: Drewman626
I can't imagine that Saddam will give us an excuse that would bring other nations in on our side. I think he'll wait until the very last minute if he's actually going to pre-empt.
To: Drewman626
So Saddam is moving his troops? So what, we've been moving troops around for months now.

oh wow, I'm glad my power came back on. The wind blew the power out here. It's been off about three hours. I couldn't find anything to do without FR!
