Chris Baker - KPRC Houston talk show host - just "stripped her of her Texas citizenship" on the air. Let's see what kind of welcome they'll get when they perform here in June, LOL!

Entertainers must start drinking too much Perrier water while touring in Europe and they start turning French.

Boycotting DOES work. Afer all.. we are hearing from Hollywood how OUR CHOOSING to turn off a certain show, or not buy a certain record is BLACKLISTING!!
Funny how when they SAY or DO things we disagree with, and then we make OUR FREE CHOICE to not watch their shows or buy their goods.. thats blacklisting. RICH huh??
They can't have it both ways. We are their customers..and if they violate my beliefs and say anti-American things on Foreign soil.. or EVEN here at home.. I will excercise my rights and NOT buy their crap!!
We are definetly keeping track of comments like this. They may be cherished by their OWN.. but "their own" aren't big enough in numbers to keep the dough coming in!!

Well I guess they just earned the nickname my hubby calls them..."The Chixie D**ks!"
Also...everyone keeps calling the new bomb MOAB, but I figured out a better name that should be written in big letters on the side...
B = Bad
A = A**
B = Bomb
S = Shell
We could also add:
"Not in my name? B.S.!!!"
Anything to make her mad, LOL!

When their record sales take a dump and their fan base shrivel up, they'll be scratching their heads wondering what went wrong.

Ah well, the only good song the girls had was a remake of a Fleetwood Mac song. Maybe Hollywood will support 'em...

..."Just so you know," I'm ashamed of The Dixie Chicks.
Somehow, by the lyrics to their sorry music, I am not suprised.

What does their music have to do with the political views of one of them? No too long ago, I read a thread on freerepublic about how great their song about the soldier was, and how everyone loved them at the superbowl. Their music hasn't changed a bit.

Well I guess they just earned the nickname my hubby calls them..."The Chixie D**ks!" I've always referred to them as the Chicks with Dicks. Now I'll be referring to them as the band that was on the radio when I turned it off.

I used to go see them when they were the house band at Joey Tomato's Italian restaurant here in Dallas. Back then, they were a cowgirl quartet doing bluegrass and cowgirl songs like "Thank Heavens for Dale Evans." They put out some really good local albums. But then two members left (or were thrown out), including the one who gave the band its name, and were replaced by the young spoiled brat Natalie Maines, who has literally gotten too big for her britches. They buried their earlier albums and members and try to pretend they never existed, and started chasing a hip image and pretending to be younger than they are.
I liked them better at Joey Tomato's. The songs were better, there were no leftwing political statements, and you could eat lasagna while they played.

You pre-suppose they actually write their own songs.
