Republicans plan to respond to the stalled nomination of Miguel Estrada to a federal appeals court by calling for votes on other contested judicial nominees, leaving Democrats facing the prospect of conducting concurrent filibusters on multiple nominees.
"We're going to load that calendar with judges, and the pressure will build to move these judges, and that ultimately will come," said Sen. Larry E. Craig, Idaho Republican and a member of the Judiciary Committee, last week after his party lost a cloture vote on Mr. Estrada.

This really mean doesn't as much as it seems as long as the Repubs maintain the "Gentlmens Filibuster" sh!t that they started with Estrada. The only way to break the demonicrats backs is to force them to the breaking point then just a little past. I long for the sound of traitor vertebrae going crunch.
I would love to see old Teddy dissolve into an alcohol puddle, maybe he would be useful as sterno stove fuel. It would be the first time since his daddy grunted that this Kennedy boy would serve a purpose.
Maybe, if God has mercy on the United States, He'll touch the hearts of the brain dead leftists and they will see the light, sending the crud lining the left side of the senate into the sewers where it belongs

BUMP!
I like this. The Republicans have decided to play beanball against the scumbags. Each successive nominee should be more frightening to the scumbags than the previous one until the scumbags view Estrada as a "moderate".
This is a very encouraging report.

Today, the Senate will hold a debate for an hour and a half on the broader issue of whether the Constitution grants authority for a filibuster with regard to judicial nominees.
Vice President Richard B. Cheney will preside over the Senate for the debate, and there will be a special message from President Bush.

Good. let's hope the debate is immediately followed by a ruling from the Chair that in the matter of judicial nominees, cloture is not required.
THEN IMMEDIATELY CALL FOR A STRAIGHT UP OR DOWN VOTE ON THE NOMINEE!!
