Once again the future of Bill Clinton has become a hot topic that rivals

I think this came out the tabloid Weekly World News.

If you check out the fine print on the UN Charter you should see that no citizen of a permanent member of the Security Council can be a Secretary General. The US would either have to pull out of the UN or clintoon would have to renounce his US citizenship.

Clinton does not want to be UN Secretary General. He just wants publicity so that he will seem relevant. He is not. Nor is ever going to accept such a post...that would involve having to work! Clinton just wants to be talked about.

Of course the rest of the world applauds this ridiculous idea. Why? Because such a move would take political oxygen from the Bush administration (which will never approve the appointment anyway) and generally lessens US power and prestige.

Here is some advice: Next time you see some news story saying Clinton may do this or may do that, don't believe a word of it. These stories are floated by Clinton and the Democrat machine to make him appear more relevant than he is.

Assuming the US has veto power, the purpose of the Clinton candidacy will be to divide the country over what they think is a "bedrock" issue and open the way for a "more reasonable" Hillary to take the presidency.

The pressure on W not to veto will be enormous. He can't let it happen, even if he loses the presidency over it. If the given reason for the veto is conflict of interest (being forced to work against his own country), I "think" it will fly. He also needs to find a palatable alternative to the Slickster (any suggestions?).

God help us if we ever have the Witch in the White House and the ARIFPOTUS (Accused Rapist and Impeached Former President of the United States) in charge of the UN.

I wish a few here would understand that this "Two-Party Cartel" is a shame to working taxpaying Americans. Look at the Klintoons appointments that are STILL in place. I'm sorry to disagree with you. Being in charge of the UN won't even feel like "work" to him--waited on hand and foot (and God knows where else), constantly debating the pros and cons of ideas in a vacuum, never having to accomplish anything meaningful, never held accountable).

I believe he wants it, and he would get it if a Democratic adminstration ever gets in the White House again, even with a GOP congress.

Clinton pays some hacks to put out stories like this every once in a while. Remember when he was going to become president of Oxford?

It's like those dopey teen movies where the unpopular kid pays some chick to pretend to be his girlfriend, with the idea that it will get some other girls interested in him.

He's looking for a high profile position with international clout and a soapbox for him to spout from. But nobody wants him and his baggage.

He'll be hosting the Adult Video Awards in a couple of years.
