Dell Dude participating in anti-war protests

If you want to listen to anti-war protesters - who despite their hijacking of that once noble label actually help exacerbate that which they claim to oppose - you can do so in the audio link below.

Dude, You're Enabling One of the Worst Dictators in History! (The proof: Rush's Stack of Saddam Stuff)
I'll tell you, my patience with these appeasers and enablers of evil is wearing thin. I don't suffer fools gladly even in the best of times. I'll make an exception, though, for the yutes of America - that's the only time you have an excuse to be stupid. Case in point is Ben Curtis. You may know him from his portrayal of an idiot in the Dell computer commercials and his catch phrase, "Dude, you're getting a Dell!" or from his recent pot arrest.
If he were my kid, he'd get a one-way ticket to Baghdad. Saddam's response to this kind of dissent would be, "Dude, you're getting your tongue nailed to a board!" Of course I'm not saying we should have that here, but it's a point that needs to be made to these students who act like we're the evil ones. This is the height of idiocy.
One protester complained that we were spending money on "a bomb we'll use once" and "cutting education." We're not cutting anything! And if we were, Ted Kennedy would be to blame because he wrote the education bill at President Bush's behest. The Dell dude - who's desperate to be taken seriously after building this image as an idiot - spouted clichés such as "killing doesn't end killing." A valley girl quipped, "The money could be better spent on better education, health care, child care, training or jobs or anything." This isn't money spent on war, you idiots. This is money spent for peace and freedom.

You mean he's out of jail already? Dell should not be happy about his comments. You would also think Dell would be taking a little better care of him than letting him run around and particpate in all these anti-war protests. Afterall, he was there main advertiser for quite some time.

How simple is it to protest against war? You just show up at a rally, parrot some tired cliches, and go home without solving a thing. The human shields go over to Iraq, with the notion of protecting the kids from the United States, but couldn't give a crap about those same kids the rest of the time. They certainly won't stay to protect them from Saddam. It is a hard choice to take the difficult solution. However, it is easy to sit by and spout platitudes and attempt to appear noble.

Dude! You are out of touch; a pot bust doesn't get hard time in NY! Gezz, murder doesn't get hard time in NYC (unless you kill a home intruder in your child's bedroom in the middle of the night).
As far as Dell's image, if they cared about their image they wouldn't have hired this flake in the first place!

Dell's gotta drop the DudeDell did drop the dude. I have not seen him in a single Dell commercial since the bust. All you see now is that boring "Dell Night Shift" ad. I miss the Dell Dude. He was entertaining. Too bad he had to go and put himself on my personal Hollywood blacklist. That darn list is getting so long I'm not sure I can go to the movies anymore.

I take back all the nice things I said about the Dell dude. No, I can't. He's a brainwashed, pot-smoking kid. Thanks government school system! /s

Any war that might interupt the hash supply would upset Dell Steve.

I am with you. My list is so long that I won't be seeing any movies except for Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis. And if their co-stars are on my boycott list (as in Danny Glover) I won't be going anyway.
Well, this is a good time for Hollywood to bring up a new crop of stars. There are plenty of people with talent who don't make insulting comments about the President or Republicans. They can hire new people and retire the peace protesters.
To: rs79bm
Small correction. Shouldn't that have read Dell "DUD"?
