Saturday Night Live - "Bill you ignorant slut" (VCR ALERT)

SNL opening skit was a spoof of clinton/dole doing point/counterpoint.
Honest to goodness you would think a freeper wrote the skit. Clinton was his oily self-agrandizing self, Doles first remark "Bill you ignorant slut".
Someone please tape this and get a digial copy of it online.

Clinton's fagile ego won't be able to take this....I know he watches SNL religously, per George Stephanopolis.
Good! Let him eat cake.

I remember when they let Collin Quinn take over.
He had a pretty good story tha thelped ease him in. It was something along the lines of:
"You know how you go down to the corner bar and they have this bartender and you know his name and he remembers you. He does all the fancy tricks and everyone loves him. Then after awhile he gets another guy to help him work the bar. Now you don't know him as well but it's okay because you still got your old bartender. Then one day you show up and he's gone, you don't know why, and all you're left with is the new guy.....
Hello, my name's Collin and I'm your new bartender."

Bob Dole a "useful idiot"-- I think not. While he is and always has been a true gentleman (in the best sense of that word)he has always had an ascerbic wit. Some real idiots at one time interpreted this as evidence of his "mean streak", I will always think of him as my favorite republican presidential contenderFunny, my favorite Republican contenders are the ones who win....

I just couldn't quite get into seeing Poppy doin' it in different ways with Mrs. Bush.
To: Grig
GREAT. I hope they get more air time for the spoof than for the 'real' show.
To: SkyPilot
Good! Let him eat cake." And "better put some ice on that" too!

I just went to see what the DUhers were saying about SNL tonite. As usual, they make the highly debatable claim that the show was "anti-war". Just like those "polls" they cite where they say most Americans just want to live in happy peace with good old Uncle Saddam and think W is the antichrist.

Dole is a Republican? Since when?

Norm said it was because of O.J.
Lorne Michaels was evidently a good friend of O.J. Simpson's, and Norm wouldn't stop cracking the O.J. jokes.

Norm McDonald actually does a better Dole than Dan Ackyroyd, but obviously he isn't being invited back anymore.
Norm McDonald is one of the funniest people on Earth.

The X-Presidents was a pretty good skit too. The Gipper had a few good jokes about Carter.
Carter: Well, a lot of people don't think war is the right answer.
Reagan: Yeah, well a lot of people think you should wear a dress.
Carter: But I just won the Nobel Peace Prize!
Reagan: They should call it the "No-Balls" peace prize.

The Conan show did a bit on this last night too.
Sort of funny,it was the bit they do sometimes where they have the moving lips crudely superimposed on the still head shots.

Okay thanks. Norm MacDonald is a hero!

Snufffulupagis did a radio show hear in the MPLS. One of the biggest here. He was a real ass and hung up on them.
They are owned by Disney, And he still had no respect.
