Probably true ---but still it sounds like the kind of war the French should be glad to participate in ---they could see who surrenders first. The French would run to the Iraqi side to surrender and the Iraqis would be running to the French side to surrender.

When I got home a little earlier I caught a Fox News Update that Turkey has gotten a new leader that is in favor of full Deployment of US Troops in that country and is threatening to terminate anyone who opposed that deployment. This paves the way for build up of Troops on the Northern front.
