I'm putting together anything and everything I can get my hands on to stop the smoking nazi's from continuing to vilify smokers. I'm looking for articles, images, documentation, etc.
A futile effort, perhaps, but I don't want to be silent on this issue.

I took a short break from FR....uh....perhaps it's time to take another one. ....seems you are in an arguementive mood or too stubborn to listen. Freepers have explained to you that that is not what this thread is about, and to start another one!.... What part of that don't you understand?

I just don't understand your paranoia. RE: health inspectors, smoking and the sort.Paranoia? Who's projecting now, dear?
You refuse to defend your statement re health inspectors and attempt to deflect the question by accusing me of paranoia.
Surely, a tough, sunburnt skin- cancer-in-waiting guy like yourself can rouse yourself out of your torpor long enough to simply answer.
To: GrandMoM
I posted to the other thread that was started. I've simply been posting replies to posts to me. Live with it.
To: Madame Dufarge
To be honest, I can't even remember what you are talking about regarding health inspectors. Tell me and I'll respond.
To: Madame Dufarge; Im4Starr
I hope Im4Starr got all the information before Pushy came aboard.

I don't think anybody really wants to vilifies smokers. I'm sure you don't, but you're wrong. Without the deliberate vilification of smokers, none of these outrageous taxes or oppressive bans would have had a chance. That vilification began when rabid anti-smoker C. Everett Koop changed the definition of addictiion to include smoking so we could then be considered "junkies" and unworthy of the upstanding citizen's concern.
And you fell for it, hook, line and sinker.

Of course, that isn't allowed here in FL anymore since smoking is banned. And I'll bet you voted for it.

Tell me and I'll respond. Now class, you must do your own homework.

You brought up the health inspectors. I refer you to YOUR post #43:
So I guess you would have also fought the introduction of health inspectors into restaurants. What about all of the food preparation guidelines that must be followed. I suppose that is merely the nanny state imposing its will on the free market?

No that is totally wrong Max, I live in CA and the "whole issue" was the "smoke" and not the smokers. It used to smell like a chimney everywhere. It's not been bad for us and smokers just smoke outside.Bullcrap. Without the deliberate vilification of smokers, real Americans wouldn't be willing--even eager-- to give up their neighbors' rights. Smokers stay away from smoker-hostile facilities in droves. I live in CA, too.

By the way, have you noticed a certain "tension" in Pushy's posts?
Maybe it's just my paranoia.
To: metesky
That was for you. Glad you liked it. ;-D

Starr, any time smoking is mentioned in ANY context, the control freaks crawl out of the woodwork. It's our right and duty to show them for the tyrannical jerks and arrogant stuffed shirts they really are...

Yup very true.. what the antis here dont realize is now the bathrooms "smell like smoke" cus all the smokers smoke in there. They did nothing more then push us into hiding.
First they were made to fear the smoke, then it was much simpler to ban the "smoker"

I suppose that is merely the nanny state imposing its will on the free market? Jeez, you guys need some new material. This one and the "pee in the swimming pool" are about due for the scrap heap, doncha think?
Here...I'll type slowly so you can understand...Government should protect the public from things the public cannot assess for themselves, like the temperature of the refrigerator or the cleanliness of the kitchen. It is NOT now and never has been government's right or mandate to protect the public from itself.
