"
Who is this Clinton Fella? I know who Rush is but I am not so sure of this Clinton guy or this Lockhart dude? and what is 60 minutes?"
Bill Clinton is the ex-boyfriend of handbag designer Monica Lewinski. Lockhart, I believe, is a character in the 2nd "Harry Potter" novel; and 60 minutes is apparently some kind of reality show..........you know, like "American Idol" and "Joe Millionaire"? Only not as intellectually stimulating.

"
Bristling over the remarks, Lockhart told the Washington Post that the nation's top rated radio talker should "keep his mouth shut.""
You know, this sounds an awful lot like what the French President said about those countries in Central and Eastern Europe who voiced their support for US actions in Iraq.
It seems as though the cowards and Clinton's apologists can't stand to hear what others have to say.
"Just keep your mouth shut."
My, how thoughtful of you, Joe.

Lockhead is a bloated, pustulous, Klintonoid who wouldn't know the truth if it bit him on the arse.

About 3 weeks back, Billie Bob Clinton was interviewed and asked if he had any regrets. He answered, "In hindsight, after 9-11, I wish I had gotten Bin Laden".

Gee, France tells small European countries that side with America to "keep their mouth shut", now the Klinton camp says it about Rush. Why is that not surprising?

Rush says he is now going to dedicate the first part of his program to respond to what Clinton says on Sunday nights. He is going to start devoting the first part of his Monday show to countering what they say.
Good thing cause that dolt Dole won't take Clinton on

Check out an earlier thread on FR...CBS wanted to pair Clinton against Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich, or another conservative who has a pulse and can actually express himself.
According to sources in both the CBS News and Entertainment Divisions, Clinton would only sign the deal if he was paired with Dole, and CBS willingly caved.
As I advocated earlier, I recommend anyone watching 60 Minutes tune out after the last story segment. That way, ratings for the last quarter-hour tank, and the program's overall average drops as well. If the "tuneout" is large enough, CBS will pull the plug on ol' Slick. Sunday night is the most watched night of television in the U.S. Even liberal CBS won't keep Clinton if viewers abandon the last 15 minutes of 60 Minutes...

Remember how Rush made a lot of noise about Freepers just prior to starting his web site? IMO, Lockhart just took a lesson from Rush to drum up an audience for the impeached-exprez, using Rush to do it. They've got to do something, because CBS and 60 Minutes don't have much of an audience.

Sort of interesting to see what a
(1) accused rapist, (2) admitted perjuror, (3) impeached former president, (4) person who settled a sexual assault case for $850,000, (5) held in contempt by a Federal judge, and (6) disbarred lawyer
is worth according to CBS: $1 million for 10 1-minute segments. Amazing. What kind of deal should George H.W. Bush have gotten? Not enough felonies in his resume?

That all depends on what you mean by "is" is.

I like that. Rush can do a fine job of it. However, I'm also hoping that Bob Dole tires of the gig and steps down. CBS could replace Bob with, say ... Ann Coulter?
How fast would Bill Clinton run from that confrontation?

Remember this Hewitt guy?
He's the Clymer who arranged the Hill'n'Bill show in which they denied the Jennifer Flowers "allegation" on TV, in the face of the electorate. In other words, he arranged the first Big Lie of a campaign of lies.
Hewitt is part of the Mike Wallace crowd who left Canada, came to America with changed names, and have been kicking our asses from the left ever since.
Remember the hatchet job Mike Wallace did on Luddy in re the Vince Foster Case? That was pure Hewitt taking orders from Clinton.
The man is a left-wing media scumbag. What the Hell is Old Bob Dole doing with these people? Maybe he should stop the Viagra for a week or two and get some blood back to his head. He can't need the money that badly.

Better make that Ruddy. The Hewitt Gang makes me so goddam steamed I can't type straight. You know how long these guys have been at it ... 50 years!

Howard Kurtz: "Limbaugh, who says he almost never engages in fundraising, was quick to slam Clinton on his radio show. "The stuff people really want to hear Bill Clinton address will not even be brought up -- Juanita Broaddrick (who accused him of a 1978 sexual assault), North Korea, contempt-of-court citations. . . . This is just more of the Bill Clinton rehabilitation legacy tour," Limbaugh said.
Former Clinton spokesman Joe Lockhart said that Limbaugh should "keep his mouth shut" and that the debates are "just one way to continue being part of the public service system," in addition to Clinton's global work on AIDS and other issues."
