Let's see; that makes Al-Qaeda #1A and #3 neutralized. I wonder if D'Asshole and Hitlery would like a personal tour of their accomodations.

"is Saddam complying with 1441? The answer by Blix was no answer!"
I have been waiting and waiting and waiting,
all the time knowing it would never happen!
It is the answer the U.N. does not want to hear!
It would force them to actually go against
their whole agenda. The U.N. is useless,
impotent, and IMHO dangerous to the citizens
of this world who put their faith in this body!

I dunno... I swear that one time I had the video cut out totally and that sometimes it varies in its quality according to net traffic.

Powell: What little cooperation we have seen has not come from resolutions, but from presence of armed forces on his border
To: knak
**why is Powell talking about this report? why didn't blix?**

POWELL....credibility of this council if we fail to do this will suffer....remember the suffering of iraqi people....their being beaten brutalized by regime...time to send a clear message to Saddam....nobody wants war, but it is clear that the limited progress we have seen....come from the large show of military force, presence of nation willing to put their young people in harms way.....to make sure that we achieve the disarmament of iraw
now is the time to tell saddam that the clock has not been stopped....the the resolution is appropriate....and that in the very near future should be brought before this council...

In his judgement Iraq has not agreed to disarm and this is the reality we have to deal with, says Powell. Last November the council stepped up to its responsibility and must not walk away. As we sit here let us not forget the horrors taking place in Iraq -- people brutalized by Saddam's regime. No one wants war but it's clear the limited changes we have seen come from the presence of a large military force -- not coming from inspectors or resolutions. Clock continues to click and the consequences of Saddam's refusal to disarm will become very real.
